or injury, read all instructions carefully before operating the fan. To prevent electric shock, do not operate the fan in standing water. Do not immerse the fan in water. Never plug in or unplug the fan with wet hands or while standing in water. Do not expose this fan to rain or freezing temperatures. Machines can cause an explosion when near fl ammable materials and vapours. Do not use or store this fan with or near fuels, grain dust, solvents, thinners or other fl ammable materials. Do not use fl ammable materials to clean this fan. Unplug the fan from the power supply before servicing or cleaning. Do not allow children to play with or around the fan at any time. Do not put any objects into the openings on the fan. Do not block any openings while the fan is in use. Keep the fan free of dust, lint, hair and anything else that may reduce air fl ow. Keep hair, loose clothing, fi ngers and all other body parts away from openings and moving parts. Only operate the fan on a level, stable surface to prevent injury or damage. Do not drop or throw the fan. This can cause damage to internal components and create hazardous operating conditions. All fans must be supervised while in operation. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This fan must be grounded. Grounding reduces the risk of electrical shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current. This fan has a cord that has a grounding wire with a 3-prong plug. The power cord must be plugged into an outlet that is properly grounded. If the outlet is a 2-prong wall outlet, it must be replaced with a properly grounded 3-prong wall outlet. The serial rating plate indicates the voltage and frequency the appliance is designed for.

WARNING: Improper use of the grounding

plug can result in a risk of fi re, electric shock or personal injury. Consult a qualifi ed electrician or service agent if the grounding instructions are not completely understood, or if doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded. Do not close a door on the cord or pull the cord around sharp edges or corners. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces. Do not run the power cord under carpeting. Do not cover the power cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Place the power cord away from traffi c area to prevent tripping.3 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FEATURES

Place the fan on a stable, fl at dry surface. Plug the electrical cord into the power outlet. Adjust the air fl ow position as desired. Turn the switch to desired speed and make sure it is operating correctly. All fans in operation must be supervised at all times. DBSF02021UD51: 800 CFM. DBSF05021UD51: 2900 CFM. CFM stands for cubic feet per minute. DAISY CHAIN Your model may be equipped with additional electrical receptacles on the side. Other appliances can be plugged into the additional electrical receptacles and they will work whether the fan is on or off. The total amperage must be lower than the 12 amp on board circuit breaker. If the fan or the appliance plugged into the fan stop working, press the reset button to reset the circuit. CLEANING Always disconnect the fan from its power source before performing any maintenance or cleaning. To keep the fan clean, use a damp cloth to wipe the surface of the housing. Never clean the fan with water. When not in use, unplug and store the fan in a dry indoor place out of reach of children. TROUBLESHOOTING No power
