Caution! Risk of Injury:
- Keep this instrument and the batteries out of reach of children.
Batteries may be hazardous if swallowed. If a battery is swallowed, this can lead to serious internal burns and death within two hours. If you suspect a battery could have been swallowed or otherwise caught in the body, seek medical help - Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
- Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.

6. Getting started
- Remove the protective film from the display
Open the battery compartment and insert three new AAA 1.5 V batteries. - Close the gallery compartment again.
The indoor temperature (default ^ C ) appears on the display.
7. Settings
7.1 Display change ^ C / ^
- Press the MIN/DATE/C/F button to select the temperature display in °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature unit.
7.2 12-HR or 24-HR system
- Press the 12/24/YEAR button to choose between the 12-hour or 24-hour system. In 12-hour system AM or PM appears on the display.

7.3 LOCK/SET switch
- Press and hold the buttons in setting mode for fast mode.
After setting slide the switch to the position LOCK.
7.3.1 Time setting
- Slide the switch to the position TIME SET.
The time flashes on the display. - Press the HOUR/MONTH button to adjust the hours.
- Press the MIN/DATE/C/F button to adjust the minutes.
7.3.2 Setting of the date
- Slide the switch to the position DATE SET.
The date flashes on the display. - Press the MIN/DATE/°C/°F, HOUR/MONTH and 12/24/YEAR button to adjust the date.
7.3.3 Alarm time setting
- Slide the switch to the position AL SET.
The alarm time (default 6:00) will be flashing on the display.

- Press the HOUR/MONTH button to adjust the hours.
- Press the MIN/DATE/°C/°F button to adjust the minutes.
7.4 Alarm functions
- Slide the switch to the position AL ON to activate the alarm function.
- The alarm symbol and the snooze symbol appear on the display.
- When the adjusted alarm time is reached, the alarm rings.
If the alarm is not stopped manually, the ascending alarm tone automatically turns off after one minute and the alarm will be reactivated at the same set time on the following day. The alarm symbol and the snooze symbol remain on the display. - Press any button to turn off the alarm sound or press the SNDOZE/LIGHT button to activate the snooze function.
The backlight turns on for a short period.
The snooz symbol flashes on the display.
The alarm sound will be interrupted for five minutes. - Press any button to turn off the snooze function.
- Slide the switch to AL OFF, to turn off the alarm function
The alarm symbol and the snooze symbol disappear from the display.

8. Backlight
- Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button and the backlight will be activated for 5 seconds.
- Move the SENSOR ON/OFF switch to ON, a weak backlight turns an automatically as soon as the light sensor registers darkness.
9. Care and maintenance
Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
- Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period of time
- Keep the device in a dry place.
9.1 Battery replacement
- Change the batteries when the device functions become weak
- Open the battery compartment and insert three new AAA 1.5 V batteries.
- Close the battery compartment again.
