Concealed table plug socket

These operating instructions solely relate to product 45017.
They contain important information concerning usage for the first time and handling the table plug socket.
Therefore, follow these operating instructions, even if you pass on this product to a third party.
For this reason, it is important that you keep these instructions safe for future reference.
1. Introduction
Dear customer: Thank you for deciding to purchase our product.
You have bought a Vollmer product which has been built to incorporate the latest technical advances
The plug adapter fulfils the requirements of the applicable European and national directives.
In order to maintain the state of the product and ensure hazard free operation, you as the user must follow these operating instructions!
2. Safety notes
- In the event of damage which is caused by not following these operating instructions, the warranty is rendered void!
• We do not assume any liability for consequential damage!
• If the product is damaged, it is strictly forbidden to start using it. - Do not allow children to play unattended in the vicinity of the table plug socket or other electrical devices.
- Do not bring the table plug socket into contact with extreme heat or a naked flame.
- The entire product should not be altered or converted. Alterations to the table plug socket lead to the warranty being rendered void.
• The rating plate should not be removed.
3. Use as directed
The table plug socket is designed for use in dry, protected indoor areas.
This product should:
- only be operated with a voltage between 230V \~50Hz.
- only be operated on a stable, level substrate that is fixed and secured from tipping.
• only be operated on normal and/or non-flammable surfaces.
• not be exposed to any high mechanical stress or heavy soiling.
4. Before installation/usage for the first time
• The table plug socket should only be used out of the packaging.
• Carefully take the product out of the packaging.
- Before you use the table plug socket, make sure that it has not been damaged in transit. The table plug socket should not be used in the event of damage to electrical parts. Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
- Keep packaging material away from children and pets. Risk of suffocation!
- Make sure that the connected load used in your domestic installation corresponds with the data on the rating plate of the product.
5. Installation/Usage for the first time
- Make sure that the substrate is suitable for reliably holding the weight of the concealed table plug socket.
- Using a saw, cut out the installation dimensions at the desired position. In order to fasten the concealed table plug socket, turn the black fastening ring downwards from the screw thread. Then lower the table plug socket into the intended opening and from below, screw the fastening ring over the thread again until the table plug socket sits rigidly and securely. Make sure that no wires are damaged.
- Once mounted, the table plug socket can only be realigned and locked by loosening and refastening the fastening ring.
- Do not kink the wire; make sure the wire and the plug are free from tensile and torsional strains. Protect all wires and insulation from damage.
- Carefully plug the connector plug into the in socket (fitted in the building)

• Pull bar upwards – the plug socket will be pulled from the table
• To close, simply press down again.

8. Care
- Before cleaning, you must ensure that current has been disconnected. Remove the plug adapter from the plug socket.
• For cleaning, use a cloth that has been slightly moistened.
• Never use chemicals or scouring agents for cleaning.
9. Disposal
- Old electronic devices should be passed on to public collection points and should not be disposed of as domestic waste.
