How to use the immersion blender?
Insert the blending shaft into the motor unit by turning it clockwise until it locks. Fill the measuring beaker with ingredients, immerse the blending shaft, then press the speed I or II button. For a homogeneous mixture, gently lift and lower the appliance in a circular motion.
How to use the chopper?
Insert the chopper blade into the bowl and press lightly. Cut food into pieces of about 2 cm. Place the lid, attach the motor unit, then press the start button. Caution, the blades are very sharp.

○ This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

○ This appliance must not be used by children. The appliance and its connecting cable must be kept away from children.

- The appliance must be disconnected from the mains during periods of no supervision and prior to assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

- In order to reduce the risk of fire and electric shock and/or injury, basical safety precautions should be followed when using this electrical appliance. Furthermore, these instructions have been designed to ensure the best possible use of this device.

Before plugging into a socket, it shall be ensured that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance's rating plate.

○ Close supervision is necessary when electrical appliance is used near children.

○ The appliance shall not be left unattended when connected to the mains.

○ If the plug or the power cable is damaged, or the appliance is defective, no repair should be attempted but by our service department.

- The use of any accessory attachment not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or personal injury.

- The power cord shall not hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces (also the stove).

- The appliance should not be connected to a power outlet before it has been fully assembled. It shall always be unplugged when not in use or when left unattended, and before changing accessory, disassembling or cleaning.

- The appliance is intended for short-time operating only. The running time may not exceed one minute, or ten seconds when chopping hard food.

- The appliance should not be running more than three times without interruption. It must cool down to room temperature before further use.

○ The device should not be used outdoors.

- To avoid fire, electric shock and personal injury, the blender, its cord or plug shall not be immersed into water or any other fluid.

○ This appliance is intended for household only.

- BEFORE FIRST USE

○ After removing the packaging, make sure that the product is undamaged and that all accessories listed are present. Do not use the appliance if it is visibly damaged and contact our service department.

- Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the equipment's rating.

• USING THE BLENDER

This hand blender is perfectly suitable for preparing dips, sauces, soups, mayonnaise and baby food, as well as for mixing drinks, smoothies and milkshakes.

- Insert the blender shaft into the power handle, turn clockwise to lock.

Fill the selected ingredients into the measuring beaker and immerse the blender deeply to prevent splattering. The hand blender may be used with the measuring beaker provided or with any other suitable vessel.

○ Switch on the blender by pressing the power button at speed I or II. Switch II is the highest available speed setting.

- Mix all ingredients by gently moving the blender up and down, with circular motions.

• USING THE CHOPPER

The chopper is perfectly suited to mince food such as meat, cheese, onions, herbs, biscuits, fruits, vegetables, nuts, bread, etc.

CAUTION: the blades are very sharp! Always handle the blade unit carefully.

  • Put the chopper blade unit in the chopper bowl, press it down to lock the bowl.
    Fill the food in the chopper bowl. Cut solid ingredients into smaller pieces (about 2 cm thick).
  • Put the chopper coupling unit onto the chopper bowl.
  • Fasten the power handle to the chopper bowl, as shown in the installation reference "Using the blender".
    ○ Switch on the appliance by pressing the power switch I or II.

• USING THE WHISK

The whisk is useful to whip light ingredients such as cream, egg whites and instant desserts.

○ Insert the whisk in the whisk coupling unit.
- Connect the coupling unit to the power handle, as shown in the installation reference "Using the blender".
Press switch I to activate the whisk, and switch II after approx. 30 seconds only, in order to prevent splashing.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and remove the accessories.
○ Wipe the power handle and the chopper/whisk coupling unit with a damp cloth only. Do not immerse in water. Other accessories may be cleaned in the dishwasher or the sink.
If some food has been allowed to dry on the blade or whisk, place a drop of dish detergent in the mixing container and add water. Plug in, then immerse the blade or whisk and operate the unit for 10 seconds. Unplug, rinse the container under running water, and then dry thoroughly.
Store this appliance in a well-ventilated and dry place to prevent the motor to be affected by damp.

CAUTION: the edges of the cutting blades are very sharp, please clean carefully.

○ Warranty commitment

We commit ourselves to repair this device free of charge, should a failure occur within the period of warranty despite proper handling.
