The device serves as a battery-operated, mobile light source. The product is intended exclusively for private household use and not for commercial use. The light is not intended for any other applications. Not suitable for household room lighting SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read through the complete opera- ting instructions carefully before using the product for the first time. They contain important information for hand- ling the product. §If you pass on the product to third par- ties, pass on these operating instruc- tions as well. §Never expose the product to extreme conditions (extreme heat/cold). §Do not immerse the product in water §Keep the product and the packaging away from children. This product is not Deutsch | English | Français | Español | Português | Svenska Italiano | Nederlands | Dansk | Suomi | Norsk8 a toy. Children should be supervised in order to ensure that they do not play with the product. §This product is not to be used by per- sons (including children) who have restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities or who do not have adequa- te experience and knowledge in hand- ling this product. Such persons must be instructed beforehand by a supervisory person who is responsible for their safe- ty or must be supervised during the use of the product!

Do not look directly into the light beam. Do not shine the light in other people's faces. If this occurs for too long, the blue light portion of the beam can cause retinal damage.

The product is categorised as pro- tective class III and thus operates with a non-hazardous voltage range.

The light source of this lamp can- not be replaced. If the light source has reached the end of its service life, the complete lamp must be replaced. §Do not open or modify the product! Re- pair work shall only be carried out by the manufacturer or by a service technician appointed by the manufacturer or by a similarly qualified person. §Always keep the product dry.

Note: §This product contains batteries. Do not throw the product into a fire §Improperly inserted batteries could leak9 and/or cause a fire/explosion §Always change all of the batteries at the same time as a complete set and always use equivalent batteries §Keep batteries away from children: Risk of choking or suffocating §Never try to open, crush or heat a batte- ry or set it on fire §Do not use the batteries if the product appears to be damaged §Batteries are not rechargeable §Always dispose of used batteries & re- chargeable batteries in accordance with the local regulations and requirements. §In the event of battery leakage, do not touch. If you come into contact with battery fluid, wash the affected area thoroughly and immediately with plenty of water §If the battery fluid has caused a skin reaction or has come into contact with your eyes, contact a medical professio- nal immediately §Do not short-circuit the batteries! §The use of rechargeable batteries and high-current batteries is not permitted due to other electrical characteristics. §Remove used or empty batteries from the lamp immediately §If the lamp is no longer to be used, the batteries must be removed from the lamp before it is disposed of

When inserting batteries, ensure that the batteries are inserted with the correct polarity. Switch the product off before changing the batteries.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning: § Carry out cleaning tasks only when the mains plug has been pulled out / when the power supply has been disconnected § Clean only with a slightly damp cloth, then rub it dry § Do not use abrasive agents or solvents for cleaning. § Never submerge the product in water or other liquids. § Do not allow fluids to enter the housing. § Do not use hard brushes or sharp objects for cleaning. Maintenance: If the product is not going to be used, remove the batteries and store separately in order to preserve service life. DISPOSAL Dispose of unserviceable lamps in accordance with legal provisions. The "waste bin" symbol indicates that, in the EU, it is not permitted to dispose of electrical equipment in household waste. Use the return and collection systems in your area or contact the dealer from whom you purchased the product. For disposal, pass the device on to a specialist disposal point for old equip- ment. Do not dispose of the device via household waste as the device contains batteries / rechargeable batteries. In this way you will fulfil your legal obligations and contribute to environmental protection.
