USER MANUAL Crêpière Pro 209001 LAGRANGE
DEUSAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Please read the following instructions and keep them on hand for later reference.
Check to ensure the mains voltage matches the voltage on the data plate of the appliance.
Fully extend the cable and examine it carefully before using it.
Regularly check the condition of the power cable, and do not use the device if any damage is detected.

If you need to use an extension cord, always use a model equipped with an earthing contact and wires with section of at least 1 mm².

Do not use spray water (either high or low pressure) to clean the product.
Be careful not to use or leave the appliance outdoors if it is raining. Store in a dry place.

ENVIRONMENT Environmental Protection – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU To protect the environment and people’s health, it is important for everyone, including all suppliers and users, to follow specic guidelines for the disposal of any electrical appliance at the end of its useful life. For this reason and as indicated by the symbol on its data plate, you may not dispose of this appliance in any public or private bin meant for household rubbish. To dispose of your appliance, you are instead responsible for taking it to a public collection centre equipped for recycling electrical or electronic devices. For information on collection and recycling centres for discarded appliances, please contact the local authorities or household rubbish collection service in your region or the shop where you purchased the appliance.
When unpacking the appliance, take care to remove and check all packing for parts as well as packets and additional packing information.
Make sure that no parts or accessories are missing or defective.
Before using the appliance, clean the cooking surface thoroughly with soapy water to remove any impurities from the packaging. Dry thoroughly.
A new appliance may smoke and/or give off an odour when used for the rst time. To reduce the chance of smoking or odour, it is recommended to allow the appliance to heat for 10 minutes and then cool for approximately 30 minutes before the rst use.

The green light switches on when the appliance is powered up, i.e. when the temperature adjustment button is no longer on the
0 ” position. The red light switches on as the appliance heats up. The green light switches back on when the set temperature is reached.
Set the thermostat to the right temperature according to the crepe, pancake or other recipe you want to cook, and according to your cooking preferences.
Once the temperature is reached (green light on), use a brush or a paper towel to grease the surface of the plate with sunower oil.
Pour a ladleful of pancake batter in the centre of the plate and spread it with the spreader.
Tip: dip the spreader in a water container and wipe it before each spreading to remove any batter residue.
Wait for a few seconds and use the spatula to lift up a side of the pancake and turn the spatula over to lift up the rest of the pancake.
Flip the pancake over and let it cook a few seconds.
Tip for buckwheat crepes: garnish the crepe directly on the plate without ipping it over.
BELOW ARE A FEW THERMOSTAT ADJUSTMENT
Wheat crepes between 200 and 220°C
Buckwheat crepes between 210 and 230°C
Pancakes and blinis between 200 and 220°C AFTER USE
To turn off the appliance, turn the thermostat down to the lowest setting.
Allow the appliance to cool and then unplug the cord.
You may then wrap the cord around the cord winder on the rear of the appliance for ease of storage.
WARNING: Always unplug appliance and
allow to cool completely before cleaning. Never submerse the appliance in water. Never use oven cleaners or other stripping products. Appliance body:
Clean the appliance body using a wet sponge and, if desired, a little dishwashing liquid. Plate:
Wipe with a slightly oily paper towel to remove any residue and protect the plate. Accessories:
Clean with a soft sponge soaked in water and washing-up liquid. The accessories can also be placed in the dishwasher.

Household Appliance Warranty. Your appliance is subject to a 4-year warranty. In order to receive an additional year of guarantee free of charge, register on the web site (www.lagrange.fr).The warranty covers parts and labour and applies to manufacturing defects. The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, failure to follow the user instructions, or dropping the appliance. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES TO DOMESTIC USE; UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DOES IT COVER PROFESSIONAL USE. LThe vendor’s legal warranty obligations in no way exclude the manufacturer’s legal warranty obligations relating to faults or manufacturing defects in accordance with Articles
et seq. of the French Civil Code. In the event of a breakdown or malfunction, contact your retailer. The appliance will be exchanged in the event of a technical defect within 8 days after purchase. After this period, repairs will be carried out by ’s after-sales service. To qualify for the warranty, users must present a copy of the purchase receipt indicating the date of purchase of the appliance.
