STARTING AND USE

BEFORE THE 1ST USE

* Fill the unit with water up to the maximum level ("MAX").
* Turn on the unit as described in the section "use of the unit". Let the water boil.
* Pour out the water once it has boiled.
* Repeat the operation a second time.
* The unit is ready for use.

USE OF THE UNIT

* Open the cover using the button.
* Fill the unit with water up to the desired level, observing the level requirements.
* Close the cover and make sure that it is properly locked in place.
* Put the kettle on its base.
* Turn on the unit by plugging it in. The 100°C indicator light will go on.
* Adjust the temperature using the setting button. There are 4 temperature choices: 40^ , 60^ , 80^ , and 100^ . The temperature indicator will go on once the temperature has been chosen.
* Press the on/off button.

* When the temperature indicator is flashing, the water is heating up.

  • Once the selected temperature has been reached, the indicator light stops blinking and stays on.
  • The use can be interrupted at any time by pressing the on/off button.
  • By default, the unit is programmed to heat to 100^ . If you want this temperature, press the on/off button.

* Once the water has come to this temperature, you can maintain it by pressing the keep warm button.
- Adjust to the desired temperature, press the keep warm button and then the on/off button.
- Once the keep warm function has been activated, the button will light up. The function can be deactivated by pressing the keep warm button again or by pressing the on/off button. The keeping warm time is 2 hours.
- When the keep warm function is activated, the temperature cannot be changed.
- The unit keeps the keep warm temperature used in memory. If you want to modify this temperature, you must do so during a new use of the unit.
- The unit can be adjusted to heat the water and then keep it warm. To do this, press the temperature selection button, then select the temperature maintaining mode, then turn on the kettle with the on/off button to heat the water. Once the water is heating, the temperature button flashes until the water is hot, and then the light becomes constant. The temperature maintaining button goes from stable to blinking. The unit goes into keep warm mode once the temperature has been reached.

Advice: You can wind the cord up in the storage support located under the base.

Anti-dry boiling system

If the MIN water level is not observed, the boil-dry protection device, which is the kettle's safety mechanism, will be activated, turning the kettle off. In this case, disconnect the kettle and wait for 15 minutes before using it again.

UPKEEP

For cleaning the unit, you should take care to:

* Always unplug the unit and let it cool down before washing it.
* Do not put the base, the cord or the plug into water. Do not allow water to enter the base of the kettle.
* Clean the kettle and the base with a moist cloth. If the kettle is very dirty, add a small amount of soap.
* Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any form of powerful solvents or abrasive cleaning products to clean the unit, because they can damage the exterior surfaces of the unit.
* Remove the scale filter by pulling it up and clean it using a brush. Put it back in place once it has been cleaned.
* IMPORTANT! Let the unit dry completely after cleaning before using it again. The unit should not be used if the base or the underside of the kettle is wet.
* Make sure that the unit is dry and clean before storing it.

SCALE REMOVAL

The presence of scale increases progressively with use.

Once a month, fill you kettle with white vinegar diluted with water (1/3, 2/3) and leave it cold to react for 2 hours or more. Rinse several times with tap water.
