DEUSAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Read these instructions carefully and keep them with you so that you can consult them later on.

Improper use of your appliance may result in injury and personal and property damage.

This appliance must be plugged into a grounded electrical outlet. Any connection error will void the warranty.

When cleaning the appliance, always make sure to disconnect the power plug. Allow the appliance to cool before washing it. Do not place the base, the cord or the plug into water. Do not let any water penetrate into the kettle base.

Clean the kettle and the base using a damp cloth. If the kettle is particularly dirty, a small amount of detergent may be added.

Do not use scouring pads, steel wool or any type of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance, as they may damage its external surfaces.

Remove the scale lter by pressing the tab and pulling it towards you, then clean it with the help of a brush. If the scale does not come off, perform descaling as described in the «Descaling» paragraph. Be careful never to remove the lter when the appliance contains hot water. Replace the lter after cleaning it.

IMPORTANT! Allow the appliance to dry completely after cleaning and before reusing it. Do not use the appliance if the base or the underside of the appliance is wet.

Descale your kettle regularly, about once per month.

Fill your kettle with white vinegar diluted in water (1/3 to 2/3) and allow it to react for two hours or longer, on cold.
