WARNING:

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
    • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • Do not use the product wet or in rooms with high humidity such as bathrooms etc.
  • In the case of continuous use, the step switch may only be set to step "1".
  • If there is a possibility that the user will fall asleep using the appliance, the appliance may only be set to step "1".
  • Long, continuous use can cause burns.
  • When the appliance is not being used, it must be stored as indicated in the chapter “Storage”.
  • People with certain diseases (varicose veins, thrombosis etc.) should consult their doctor before using the appliance.
  • The appliance may not be used on open wounds, burns, bruises, swelling or injuries.
  • The appliance must not be used to keep animals warm.
    • Shoes must be removed before using the appliance.

  • Do not use a damaged appliance and disconnect it from the power supply immediately.
  • If the appliance is not working because a fuse in it has been triggered, send the product to our service centre.
  • Do not repair the appliance by yourself. Always contact an authorized technician. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

General Notes

  • The appliance is designed exclusively for private use and for the envisaged purpose. This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
  • Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity (never dip it into any liquid) and sharp edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it immediately.
  • When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the socket (pull the plug itself, not the lead) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached accessories.
  • Do not operate the appliance without supervision. If you leave the room you should always turn the appliance off. Remove the plug from the socket.
  • The appliance and the mains lead have to be checked regularly for signs of damage. If damage is found the appliance must not be used.
  • Use only original spare parts.

The product keeps your feet nice and warm and relaxes them.

Always use the foot warmer with the inner lining. This creates a minimum distance which protects against overheating.

CAUTION:

Do not cover the step switch. This can lead to malfunctions.

Electrical Connection

  1. Ensure that the appliance voltage (see label) and the mains voltage are the same.
  2. Insert the plug into a properly installed socket.

Switching On

  • Move the step switch on the controller to the desired setting.
  • If the appliance has switched itself off after 90 minutes of use, you can switch it back on my setting the step switch to 0 (off) and then setting the desired temperature level again.

NOTE:

Unusual smells may occur during the first use. These are harmless and disappear the more the appliance is used.

  1. Set the step switch to 0 (off).
  2. Only then pull the plug out of the wall socket.

The appliance will switch itself off after 90 minutes. This saves energy and provides additional safety as the foot warmer is never used without supervision.

Cleaning

WARNING:

  • Pull the plug out of the socket before each time you clean the appliance.
  • Only clean the appliance when it is cool. Risk of burns!
  • Do not submerge the foot warmer with the step switch in water! This could lead to an electric shock or a fire.

  • Do not use any strong cleaning agents or solvents.
  • Please note the care instructions on the labels!

Inner Lining

  1. Take the inner lining out of the foot warmer.
  2. You can wash the inner lining in the washing machine on a delicate programme at 40 °C.
    Use a mild detergent and follow the instructions of the manufacturer on amount of detergent.

CAUTION:

  • Please note that the inner lining may not be chemically cleaned, wrung out, dried in a tumble dryer or ironed.
  • Please note that high stress is placed on the inner lining by frequent washing. The inner lining should be washed in a washing machine a maximum of five times during its service life. We therefore recommend that you wash the appliance exclusively by hand.

  • Immediately after washing, pull the inner lining into its original shape and leave it to dry lying flat over a washing stand.

CAUTION:

Do not use any clothes pegs or similar to attach the inner lining of the foot warmer to the washing stand. Otherwise this may damage the inner lining.

  1. Let the inner lining dry completely before you put it back into the foot warmer. Otherwise this may damage the foot warmer.

Never switch the foot warmer on to dry it! This may cause an electric shock.

Foot Warmer and Step Switch

  • You can brush off the foot warmers using a soft brush.
  • Only clean the step switch with a dry cloth.

Storage

Let the appliance cool down completely before storing it away.
