We are delighted that you have chosen this massage mat.
Before using the device for the first time, please read the operating instructions carefully and keep them for future reference. If the device is given to someone else, it should always be accompanied by these operating instructions. They are an integral part of the device.
The manufacturer and importer do not accept any liability if the information in these operating instructions is not complied with.
If you have any questions about the device and about spare parts/accessories, contact the customer service department via our website:
- The device is intended for massaging your neck / shoulders / back, buttocks / lumbar area and legs and is used for relaxation. It is not a replacement for medically required treatment.
- Do not use the device before going to bed. The massage has a stimulating effect, which may lead to problems getting to sleep.
- The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer or a separate remote control system.
- The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
- The device should only be used as described in the operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
- The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage, assembly or attempted repairs. The same applies to normal wear and tear.
Safety Notices
This device should not be used by people (including children) with impaired sensory or mental faculties or who do not have adequate experience and/or knowledge of such devices, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety, or have received instructions from such a person on how to use the device.
■ Children must not play with the device.
- Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by children, unless they are supervised.
■ Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be kept away from the device and the connecting cable.
- The device may not be used by people who are insensitive to heat and may not be used by other vulnerable people who are unable to react to overheating.
- Do not use the device if it should still be damp. It must be completely dry before it can be switched back on again.
- Do not switch on the device when it is folded up or allow the device to cool down before it is folded up and stored away.
- Do not insert any safety pins, drawing pins or other pointed objects into the device.
- Do not use the mains adapter with another device and never use the device with another mains adapter.
- The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children and animals. Incorrect operation may lead to injuries and electric shocks.
- The device must always be disconnected from the mains power when left unattended and before cleaning it.
- Check the device for damage each time before you use it. The device may only be used if the device and connecting cable have no visible signs of damage! If the device or the connecting cable are damaged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or a specialist workshop in order to avoid any hazards.
- Follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter!

Dangers for the Following Groups of People
The following people may use the device only after consultation with their doctor: –people who wear a pacemaker or similar medical implants;
- people with heart disease or who suffer from epilepsy;
—people who have back complaints or spinal disorders;
- people who suffer from osteomyelitis, bone inflammation (in particular if the spinal column is damaged) or from osteoporosis;
—women who are pregnant or have just given birth;
- people who suffer from circulation problems or thrombosis;
- people who have undergone an operation for which the treatment is not yet complete;
—people with physical abnormalities;
—people who have a malignant tumour.
If you are unsure whether the device may be used, consult a responsible doctor.
- Do not use the device on swelling or sore areas of skin.

DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock
■ Use and store the device only in closed rooms. Do not operate the device in rooms with high humidity.
- Never immerse the device in water or other liquids! Ensure that the device and the connecting cable cannot fall into water or become wet.
- Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
- Never touch the device and the connecting cable with wet hands when these components are connected to the mains power.
- Do not use the device if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water. Have it checked in a specialist workshop before using it again.

WARNING – Danger of Injury
- Danger of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
The device may only be used by people who are able to handle the controller. - Danger of tripping! Make sure that the connecting cable does not present a trip hazard.
- Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the connecting cable is always kept out of the reach of small children and animals.
- Do not insert any fingers or other body parts into the device. Do not open the zip during use.

WARNING – Danger of Fire
- Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable or explosive substances.
- To prevent overheating, do not use the device under a blanket or similar cover. Do not place the connecting cable or the controller on or beneath the device during operation.
■ Unwind the connecting cable fully before connecting to the mains power.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
- Only connect the mains adapter to a properly installed plug socket. The plug socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the rating plate of the device and the mains adapter.
■ The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains adapter.
■ Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and does not come into contact with hot surfaces. - Switch off the device and pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket if an error occurs during operation or before a thunderstorm.

When removing the mains adapter from the plug socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never the mains cable.

Do not pull or carry the device by the mains cable. Never wind the mains cable around the device or the mains adapter.
■ Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible damage.
■ Never place heavy objects on the device or the connecting cable.
■ Protect the device from heat sources, naked flames, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture, wet conditions and impacts.

Use

PLEASE NOTE!
- Do not use the device in bed. Do not fall asleep while using the device.
■ The device must not be folded up or covered when it is switched on.
■ Never stand on the device. - Do not use the device for longer than 30 minutes without stopping.
For reasons of hygiene, avoid direct contact of the skin with the device wherever possible. It should not come into contact with skin that has had cream or oil applied to it.
If you experience a feeling of discomfort, stop using the device and consult a doctor if necessary.

We recommend that you wait an hour after mealtimes before using the device.
Place the massage mat down on a sofa or chair, for example, or lay it out on the floor. If necessary, fix the massage mat in place with the fastening strap (6) so that it does not slip.

Connect the barrel connector of the mains adapter to the connecting socket on the device and insert the mains adapter into an easily accessible plug socket.
-
Sit down or lie down on the massage mat so that the massage motors are located in the middle.

Pick up the controller (8) and press the Ein / Aus (on / off) button (17). The operating lamp (18) will light up. The device automatically starts in the preset mode F1.

By pressing the buttons on the controller, the desired massage zones, preprogrammed modes and the level of intensity can be set (see the "Device Overview" chapter – "Controller").

Also activate the heat function if necessary (see the "Device Overview" chapter – "Controller"). It is also possible to exclusively switch on the heat function by switching off all massage zones and selecting the Wärme (heat) button (14).

Remain lying on the massage mat for the time you want. We recommend that you use each massage programme for no more than 15 minutes.
- The device switches off automatically after approx. 15 minutes. For another massage programme, switch the device on again via the controller.
- Pull the mains adapter out of the plug socket and the barrel connector from the device.
- Allow the device to cool down if the heating function was activated before it is stored away or cleaned (see the "Cleaning and Storage" chapter).
Cleaning and Storage

PLEASE NOTE!
- Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the device. These may damage the surfaces.
- Make sure that the device is not connected to the mains power and has cooled down if applicable.
- Clean the device only with a slightly damp cloth.
- When storing it away, do not press the device together too strongly and do not use any force. It could be damaged.
- Keep the device in its respective packaging in a dry place which is protected from sunlight and is not accessible to children or animals.

Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, first check whether you are able to rectify the problem yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps listed, contact the customer service department.
