How to start the Mover SX maneuvering system?
First, check that the battery is charged and the battery disconnect switch is on. Slide the side switch on the remote control upward. After approximately 5 seconds, the green LED lights up continuously, indicating the radio link is established and the system is ready.
What type of battery should be used for the Mover SX?
Truma recommends a 12 V lead-acid or gel/AGM battery with a capacity of at least 55 Ah (ideally 70-80 Ah). Preferably use the Truma PowerSet BC with an Optima® battery. Starter batteries are not suitable.
What to do if the remote control stops responding?
First check the remote control batteries. If the red LED flashes, the system battery is low. Try to reset by turning off the remote control for 4 seconds and then turning it back on. If nothing works, perform a control unit reset by disconnecting the power for 20 seconds.
How to engage the drive rollers?
Use the supplied engagement lever. Insert it fully onto the folding shaft, then turn it toward the wheel until it clicks into place. The rollers should press about 20 mm into the tires on both sides.
What is the emergency stop procedure?
In case of uncontrolled behavior, immediately slide the side switch on the remote control to the STOP position. Then apply the handbrake and cut off the power via the battery disconnect switch if necessary.
How to maintain the maneuvering system?
Regularly clean the drive units with a water jet and soft brush. Check the distance between the roller and tire (20 mm) using the spacer plate. Check tire pressure and general condition before each use.
Can I use the Mover SX on public roads?
No, the maneuvering system is exclusively designed for use on camping sites and private grounds. It is forbidden to maneuver on public roads.
How to pair the remote control with the control unit after replacement?
Turn off the remote control. Turn on the control unit and wait for the red LED to flash slowly. Press the reset button until it flashes rapidly. Then turn the rotary knob to the left and push the slider forward while turning on the remote control. Release within 10 seconds.
What are the warranty conditions?
Truma offers a 24-month warranty from sale to the consumer for material and manufacturing defects. The warranty is valid in the EU and certain other countries. Repairs must be carried out by an authorized Service Partner.
What to do in case of persistent fault with solid red LED?
Apply the handbrake and turn off the remote control. Wait 4 seconds, then turn it on again. If the red LED remains on, perform a reset by disconnecting the battery or the battery disconnect switch for about 10 seconds.
