How to wear the JBL Wave Buds correctly?

Try the different sizes of ear tips provided for optimal fit and sound isolation. Insert the earbud into the ear canal and twist it slightly for a secure fit.

How to turn on and connect the earbuds for the first time?

Take the earbuds out of the case, they turn on automatically. On your device, enable Bluetooth and select JBL WAVE BUDS from the list of devices.

How to reset the JBL Wave Buds to factory settings?

Place the earbuds in the case, press and hold the button on the case for about 10 seconds until the LED flashes white. The earbuds will be reset.

What is the actual battery life of the earbuds and how to extend it?

Music playback time is 8 hours, talk time is 4.5 hours. To extend battery life, fully charge the earbuds at least once every 3 months.

How to activate Ambient Aware or TalkThru mode?

These functions are available via the JBL Headphones app or through touch controls. Connect your earbuds to the app to activate and customize these modes.

Are the earbuds water or sweat resistant?

The manual does not mention an IP certification. It is recommended to protect them from moisture and not expose them to rain or excessive sweat.

Can I use only one earbud at a time?

Yes, the JBL Wave Buds support mono mode. You can use one earbud for calls or listening, the other remains in the case.
