Turn off and unplug after use.
What to do if a film gets jammed in the laminator?
Turn off the device immediately (switch to 'O'), unplug it and let it cool down. Press the ABS release button on the back, hold it down, and gently remove the film from the front or rear slot. Release the ABS button. If the jam persists, contact customer service.
What film thickness to use for the LA 200 laminator?
Use lamination pouches with thickness between 80 and 125 microns. Films that are too thin may jam. For very thin documents (newspapers, tissues), use 100 micron films, but this is not recommended.
How to clean the laminator?
Unplug the device and let it cool down. Clean the housing with a soft, slightly damp cloth, without abrasive products or solvents. For cutting residue, use a brush. Also clean the trimmer and corner rounder regularly.
Can I laminate thermal paper (fax) with this machine?
No, materials that cannot withstand heat like thermal fax paper should not be hot laminated. They only support cold lamination, which is not available on this model. Use suitable materials.
How to use the included trimmer?
Place the trimmer on a flat surface. Push the cutting head to one side of the rail. Place the paper or photo under the rail and press down. Use the positioning guide for straight cut. Slide the cutting head along the rail to the other end. Remove the cut product. Max capacity: 3 sheets of 80 g/m² paper.
How to use the corner rounder?
Place the corner rounder on a flat surface. Place a corner of the document into the opening. Press firmly on the upper half to cut. Remove the product. Make sure to remove staples and paper clips before use.
What are the important safety instructions?

Can I laminate several small documents in the same pouch?
It is not recommended to put several small documents in the same pouch. Prepare each document individually in a pouch suitable for its size. Do not cut the film before lamination.
