How to turn the XWide Keration straightener on and off?

To turn on, press the power button (4). To turn off, press the same button again. Then unplug the device from the outlet.

How to adjust the temperature?

Use the + and - buttons to select the desired temperature between 150°C and 270°C. The digital display shows the temperature in real time.

How to activate Button Lock?

After setting the temperature, press and hold the + button for 2 seconds. The lock icon appears on the screen. To unlock, press the - button until the icon disappears.

What to do if a burning smell occurs during first use?

This is normal: the protective coating on the heating elements is heating up for the first time. Leave the device on until the smell disappears (about 30 seconds). It poses no danger.

How long does the auto shut-off take to activate?

The automatic shut-off activates after 60 minutes of inactivity for safety reasons.

How to clean the straightener plates?

In both cases, the warranty shall be valid upon presentation of the proof of purchase consisting of original invoice or purchase ticket indicating the date of purchase and product type. Such proof must be legible, full and undamaged.

CAUTION

This appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When plugged in and operated for the first time, there may be a momentary burning smell. This occurs when the coating around the heating element is heated for the first time. This is not dangerous for the user and does not indicate a defect in the coating. USEINSTRUCTIONS:

• Plug the appliance into the power outlet.

Turn on the hair straightener by pressing the button for a few seconds.

The hair straightener will reach the lowest temperature of 190^ in just a few seconds.

BUTTON LOCK SYSTEM (locks the buttons)

The Button-Lock system locks the buttons after the temperature is selected. In this way, accidentally pressing the buttons will not change the working temperature while the hair straightener is in use.

To activate the Button-Lock system:

• When the product is turned on, the buttons are unlocked and can be used to adjust the temperature.
• Once the desired temperature has been selected, wait 2 seconds then press the - button; a lock will appear on the display, indicating that the buttons are locked.
• To change the set temperature, unlock the buttons by pressing the - button until the lock disappears.

AUTO POWER-OFF:

If the hair straightener should remain on by mistake, the auto power-off feature will kick on after 60 minutes; this safety system blocks the supply of current and turns off the hair straightener.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

Keep your appliance wall maintained in order to ensure the best performance and to extend product life cycle. If kept clean, the heating plates will continue to glide easily through your hair. Heat can cause chemical elements (colourings, treatments, mousse, sprays, waxes, etc.) on your hair to be transferred onto the heating plates. After each use, we recommend disconnecting the appliance from the electrical outlet; let it cool down for 15 minutes before you can touch it. Remove any residual material from the heating plates. Do not use particularly aggressive agents on the heating plates of the hair straighteners.
Make sure that the appliance is completely dry before using it.

STORAGE

After use, unplug the power cord and put it in a dry place once cooled. Do not wind the electric cord around the appliance. Never hang the appliance by the cord; use the special ring.
