We congratulate you on the purchase of your new product. You have chosen a high quality product. Familiarise yourself with the product before using it for the first time. In addition, please carefully refer to the operating instructions and the safety advice below. Only use the product as instructed and only for the indicated field of application. Keep these instructions in a safe place. If you pass the product on to anyone else, please ensure that you also pass on all the documentation with it.

  • Keep children away from the product when it is being used. It poses a risk of suffocation as children may swallow or inhale small parts.

CAUTION! RISK OF INJURY! Ensure that all parts are undamaged Damaged parts can affect safety and function.

CAUTION! DANGER OF POISONING AND DAMAGE TO PROPERTY! Do not light any fires near the product

and keep it away from sources of heat and open fire.

WARNING!

Product must be emptied to fold away for storage.

Store the product in a dry place and protected it from excessively strong sunlight.
- Do not use the product on hot surface. The product is not heat resistant and could melt.

Assemblingthe product

Note: Remove all packaging material from the product.

Spread out the irrigation bag 3 on the ground in front of the tree to be watered and ensure that the irrigation bag 3 is undamaged.

Note: Remove sharp objects from around the tree before setting up the irrigation bag 3 to avoid damages.

Figure B:

Place the opened irrigation bag with the inside around the tree trunk.
- Close the zipper 2 of the irrigation bag 3 from the bottom up.

Note: The irrigation bag 3 is suitable for trees with a max. 13 cm trunk diameter. For watering trees with a larger trunk diameter, you can connect several irrigation bags with one another using the zipper.

Figure C:

Insert a water hose (max. diameter 6.5 cm) (not included in the scope of delivery) into the filling opening [4] open the water tap and start filling the irrigation bag [3].

Figure D:

Fill the irrigation bag 3 only up to 25 % and turn off the tap.

Note: Gently lift the irrigation bag 3 by the two loops 1 on the top to fully expand the bottom.

Figure E:

  • Open the tap again and continue to fill the irrigation bag until it is completely filled with water.

Note: The irrigation bag 3 is emptied after approx. 5 to 9 hours (In practice, sunshine, temperature and soil moisture all influence the irrigation time.). The small openings in the bottom of the irrigation bag 3 ensure slow watering. Please make sure that these openings are not blocked. Do not fill fertilizer in the irrigation bag 3 as it can clog the openings in the bottom.

Note:Be careful not to dam- age the irrigation bag 3 when

using a lawn mower or lawn trimmer.

- Cleaning

  • Never wash the irrigation bag 3 in a washing machine.
  • Do not use any sharp objects as these will damage the irrigation bag 3.
    Remove dirt from the irrigation bag 3 with a soft sponge and clean water.
  • Allow all parts dry thoroughly before you pack the irrigation bag away again. This will prevent mould, odours and colour changes.

- Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.

Observe the marking of the packaging materials for waste separation, which are marked with abbreviations (a) and numbers (b) with following meaning: 1-7:

plastics/20-22: paper and fibreboard/80-98: composite materials.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
