SAFETY INFORMATION
Please read the following instructions and keep them on hand for later reference.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and user maintenance must not be performed by children, unless they are older than 8 years and are supervised.


- Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of children under 8 years.
- Connect the appliance only to an AC power supply with the voltage indicated on the rating plate.
- Do not take the plug out of the socket by pulling the cable.
- Children are not aware of the danger involved in the use of electric appliances. Therefore never allow children to handle the appliance without supervision.
- Place the appliance of free and flat surface. Never put the appliance or the cable on hot surfaces nor operate it near an open gas flame.
- Make sure, that the power cord does not hang over the edge of the working top.
- This appliance is intended for domestic and similar use such as:
■ staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
■ agricultural enterprises ;
■ by clients in hotels, motels and other accommodation facilities;
■ bed and breakfast accommodations and holiday homes.

Never put the appliance in water and keep the power cord away from moisture.

Do not immerse the motor block, the power cord and the plug into water – risk of short circuit.

Only use the appliance when properly assembled.

Before switching on the appliance make sure, that the jug assembly is firmly connected with the motor block.

Do not operate the appliance with an empty jug.
-
Make sure that the lid is firmly closed during operation.
-
Do not hold any tools, cutlery or fingers into the jug while it is operated – Risk of injuries.

The appliance is only admitted for the processing of food.
- Do not exceed the maximum quantity of 1.5 litres.
- The appliance is not provided for permanent operation. After an operation time of approx. 3 minutes let it cool down for some minutes before using it again.
- When adding warm ingredients, please put your hand on the lid of the appliance in order to prevent the lid from coming off and the mixture from spilling.
- Avoid extreme differences in the temperature of the ingredients you add. Otherwise the glass container might be damaged.
- Make sure that the motor has completely stopped before removing the lid or the jug assembly.
- Always unplug the appliance before assembling/disassembling it and before cleaning it!
- Never open the casing of the appliance. There is danger of electric shock.
- Do not use the appliance with accessories of other brands.
- Check the appliance, the wall socket and the lead cable regularly for wear or damage. In case the lead cable or other parts appear damaged, please send the appliance or the base to our after sales service for inspection and repair.
- Unauthorized repairs can constitute serious risks for the user and void the warranty.

CAUTION! The cutting knife is extremely sharp. Be very careful when assembling, disassembling and cleaning the knife.
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE

Important: Only use the appliance when properly assembled. The appliance is provided with a safety switch. It can be switched on only if the jug and the lid are in place. Should it be possible to switch on the appliance without shaker recipient, you should send the appliance to our customer service for control. Keep hands and utensils out of the jug – danger of injuries!
- Remove all packaging materials and any transport safety devices.
- Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all parts (see "Cleaning").
- Put the plug into a wall socket.
Assembly of the jug
- Place the cutting knife (4) into the motor lock (5).
- Fill the ingredients into the jug.
- CAUTION!
Do not exceed the maximum quantity of 1.5 litres.
- Press the lid (2) firmly on the jug. Lock the lid by letting it snap forward (pay attention to the arrows on the lid).
- Place the measuring cup (1) into the opening.
Insert the jug
- Make sure that the swi tch isin 0 /OFF position.
- Place the properly assembled jug on the motor block (5). Caution: do not turn the jug!

- Switch the appliance on:
■ 1 = LOW/NIEDRIG:
for liquid ingredients
■ 2 = HIGH/HOCH
for solid ingredients
for mixing of solid and liquid ingredients
■ P = quick break switch
for crushing of ice, for rapid powerful mixing
- The quick break switch does not click it, but has to be held during operation.
As soon as it is released the motor stops. Only use it in short intervals of 5 to 10 seconds. - In general all ingredients are given into the jug at one time.
- In case of large quantities, mix in several steps one by one.
- Solid ingredients such as cheese or vegetables should be cut into pieces before adding it.
- If not provided otherwise in the recipe, add first the liquid ingredients and then the solid ingredients. Due to the liquid the food can be processed more rapidly and on a lower speed.
- We recommend to blend in short intervals of 5–30 seconds, and then to check the consistency of the processed food.
- Do not run the mixer for a long time without interruption (max. 3 minutes). Then the appliance has to cool down for 5–10 minutes.
- Only use the blender with the lid in place. Hold the lid firmly pressed down with your hand during operation.
- Additional liquids and other ingredients can be added through the opening in the lid. Please be careful: the content may splash out.
- Be extremely careful when processing hot ingredients.
- When processing solid ingredients we recommend to the use the quick break switch several times. This avoids the knife from getting blocked.
- Do not take off the jug assembly before the motor has completely stopped. When adding warm ingredients, please put your hand on the lid of the appliance in order to prevent the lid from coming off and the mixture from spilling.

After use switch to O/OFF position and take the plug out of the socket.
-
Remove the glass jug upwards.
Crushing of ice
- You can crush the ice cubes directly. For rapid crushing we recommend to fill first a small amount of water into the glass jug and then to add the ice cubes.
- Fill the ice cubes into the jug or add it one by one through the opening in the lid.
- Press the quick break switch several times, until the ice is sufficiently crushed.
CLEANING AND CARE

Switch off the appliance and disconnect the plug from the outlet.
- Do not use any sharp or scouring cleansers which might damage the surface.
- Do not immerse the motor block into water. Wipe it with a damp cloth and dry it with a soft cloth. Take care that no water penetrates into the motor block.
- Empty the jug before disassembling and cleaning it.
- You may clean the jug and the knife easily by using the quick break switch. Fill some warm water and some drops of a mild cleanser into the jug and operate the quick break switch for a few seconds. Rinse with clear water.
- Optionally you can disassemble the jug for cleaning. Unscrew the knife clockwise. Carefully place the knife block in the container after cleaning.
- All detachable parts of the jug assembly can be cleaned in warm soapy water. Attention: The glass jug itself must not be immersed in water!

CAUTION!
The knife is extremely sharp, be careful when handling and cleaning it.
- Strong odours from onions or garlic can be removed with lemon juice.
- All parts must be dried completely before reassembling the jug.
RECIPES
Tropic cocktail
Cut 2 oranges and 1 papaya into small pieces, blend them, add 3 ice cubes through the cover hole, add tablespoon of coconut syrup, blend again and fill into a glass.
Cherry banana cocktail
Blend 200 g stoned sour cherries and 1 banana with 3 ice cubes, fill into glasses.
Strawberry milk
Blend 100 g of strawberries with 14 l cold milk, 1 ie cube and d fill the drink into glasses. TIPP: Try other fruits instead of strawberries, e.g. bananas or raspberries.
Strawberry milk shake
Blend 2 balls of vanilla ice cream with 100 g of strawberries and 1/8 l of cold milk and fill into glasses.
Chocolate milk shake
Blend 2 balls of chocolate ice cream with 1 tablespoon of chocolate-hazelnut cream and 14 l of cold milk and fill into glasses.
Banana nut shake
Mix 3 tblsp of grated nuts, 12 banana, 1 tsp of lemon juice, 2 tblsp of cream, 1 tblsp of honey, 200 ml of cold whey with 2 ice cubes.
Irish Dream
Blend 2 cl of whiskey with 1 tablespoon of chocolate powder and 0,2 l of sweet cream.
Crushed ice cocktail
Fill 1 bulbous glass half with crushed ice. Blend 1 pineapple slice (cut into pieces), 3 tablespoons of vodka, 3 tablespoon of curacao blue, 2 tablespoon of sweet cream, 2 tablespoons of coconut syrup, 100 ml of pineapple juice, pour it over the crushed ice and serve with a straw.
Fruit cream
Blend 200 g berries of your choice with 200 g sugar and fill this cream into a glass with cover. This aromatic fruit cream can be kept for about one week in the refrigerator.
Rapid vegetable soup
1 tomato, 1 carrot, 14 kohlrabi, 1 piece of celeriac, 12 stalk of leek, 1 teaspoon of grated horseraddish, 5 stalks of parsley.
Cut all ingredients into pieces and fill them into the blender. Add 1-2 cooked potatoes and approx. 14 I hot vegetable stock, until mashed.
Pesto
Blend 1 bunch of basil, 2 tablespoons of pine nuts, 50 g of parmesan cheese in small pieces and 2–3 cloves of garlic with 1/8 l olive oil. If necessary add more oil drop by drop through the opening in the cover. Serve with hot spaghetti.
Caution:
Clean blending jug immediately after preparing the pesto to avoid any transfer of garlic taste.
Guacamole – Avocado puree
1 ripe avocado, 2 tblsp of sour cream, 1 tblsp of lime juice, 1 tblsp of chopped coriander leafs, salt, pepper, Tabasco
Cut the avocado into halves, remove the stone, and remove the pulp from the peel. Mix it with cream, lime juice and the spices, season with salt, pepper and tabasco.
Pancake batter
500 ml milk, 3 eggs, 1 pinch of salt, 250 g flour
Mix all ingredients in the jug. Leave the batter for 15 minutes before baking the pancakes.
Melt'n mix cake
150 g flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 140 g sugar, 125 g soft margarine, 2 eggs, 12 tsp vanilla sugar, 60 ml milk
Mix all ingredients until you receive a smooth batter. Add to taste some chocolate flakes, grated nuts, sultanas or cranberries. Stir by hand.
Heat the oven to 180 °C. Butter a small mould or muffin moulds, fill in the batter. Bake muffins for approx. 15-20 min., a cake for approx. 30–35 min.
Remove the cake from the mould and let it cool down on a grid. Decorate with icing sugar or melted chocolate.

Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workship through repair or replacement, at our option. Our warranty terms apply and Austria. For other countries, please contact the responsible import of a claim for remed defect, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of purchase.
