USER MANUAL Model Air TAURUS
- This appliance can be used by people unused to its handling, disabled people or children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instructionconcerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. - Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are supervised - This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. - If you use the appliance in a bathroom or similar place, unplug the appliance from the mains when it is not in use, even if it is only for a short while, as proximity to water invol- ves a risk, even if the appliance is discon- nected. - As an additional protection to the electri- cal supply for the appliance, it is advisable to have a dierential current device with a maximum sensitivity of 30mA. Ask for advice from a competent installer. - If the connection is damaged it must be replaced. Take the appliance to an authori- sed Technical Assistance Service. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be dangerous. - CAUTION: Do not use this appliance nearbaths, showers, wash-hand basins or other recipients which contain water. This symbol signies that the appliance must not be used near water - Connect the appliance to a base with an earth socket withstanding a minimum of 10 amperes. - Do not force the electrical wire. Never use the electric wire to lift up, carry or unplug the appliance. - Do not wrap the cable around the appliance. - Ensure that the electric cable does not get trapped or tan- gled. - Check the condition of the electrical connection cable. Damaged or tangled cables increase the risk of electric shock. - Do not touch the plug with wet hands. - Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged. - If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately discon- nect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric shock. - Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the oor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak. - CAUTION: Maintain the appliance dry. - CAUTION: Do not use the appliance near water. - Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers or swim- ming pools. - Do not use the appliance with damp hands or feet, or when barefooted. - The power cord must be regularly examined for signs of damage and if damaged, the appliance must not be used. - Do not leave the appliance out in the rain or exposed to moisture. If water gets into the appliance, this will increase the risk of electric shock. - The temperature of the acces- sible surfaces may be high when the appliance is in use. - Do not use hair sprays or other spray product whilst the machi- ne is switched on. - Place the appliance on a horizontal, at, stable surfaceaway from heat sources and contact with water (splashes etc.). - CAUTION: In order to prevent overheating, do not cover the appliance. - Ensure that neither the air access nor exit become either totally or partially covered by drapery, clothing, etc., as this increases the risk of re. USE AND CARE: - Fully unroll the appliance’s power cable before each use. - Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not properly tted. - Do not use the appliance if the accessories attached to it are defective. - Do not use the appliance if the on/o switch does not work. - Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use, before cleaning, making any adjustment, battery charge or accessory change. - This appliance is for household use only, not professional or industrial use. - This appliance should be stored out of reach of children and/or the disabled. - Do not expose to extreme temperatures or strong magne- tism. - Keep the appliance in a dry, dust-free place, out of direct sunlight. - Make sure that dust, dirt or other foreign objects do not block the fan grill on the appliance. - Never rest the appliance into a surface while in use. - Do not use the appliance to dry pets or animals. - Do not use the appliance to dry textiles of any kind. SERVICE: - Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the guarantee and the manufacturer’s liability null and void. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE BEFORE USE: - Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed. USE: - Unroll the cable completely before plugging it in. - Connect the appliance to the mains. - Guide the diuser of the appliance to direct the ow ofair in the desired direction. - Turn the appliance on, by using the speed selection buttons. - Select the desired tempera- ture.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED
USING THE APPLIANCE: - Turn o the appliance by selec- ting 0 on the speed regulator
- Unplug the appliance to the mains. HOW TO DRY THE HAIR: - Move the appliance around in circles to distribute the air along the hair. - For best results, we recom- mend selecting minimum speed and temperature. ACCESSORIES: - To attach and remove the ac- cessories, press the accessory release button, turn slightly and pull (Fig.1). - Air concentrator D: Desig- ned to dry and x the style. Concentrates the air ow into a specic zone. - Double action brush (E): Designed to create large curls and waves in the hair and obtain volume. - It has two types of bristles for detangling and brushing the hair. - Take a strand of hair and wrap it around the brush, rotating the appliance in a gentle manner. The closer to the hair root, the more volume will be created (Fig. 2) - Retractable bristle brush (F): Designed to create curls with a special system for separating them afterwards. Follow the same step described for the double action brush. - Use the retractable function to release the curls easily: press the end of the brush and spin it until the bristles are retracted, CLEANING - Disconnect the appliance from the mains and let it cool before undertaking any cleaning task. - Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry. - Do not use solvents, or pro- ducts with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance. - Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance. - Do not submerge the appliancein water or any other liquid, or place it under a running tap. ANOMALIES AND REPAIR - Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if problems arise. Do not try to dismantle or repair without assistance, as this may be dangerous.
