This product is not a toy and should not be played by children. Children are not able to understand the dangers that can occur when handling this product. This product can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabili- ties or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. without supervision. Ensure that the product is installed by suitably experienced or qualified persons only. CAUTION! RISK OF OVERHEATING! Do not operate the product inside the pack- aging. After use, keep the product in the packaging to prevent unwanted damage. Do not pull the product cable and make sure it is laid down properly so that no one walks or trips over it. Do not attach any other objects to the product. The illuminant is not replaceable. If the illuminant fails at the end of its life, the entire product must be replaced. This product must not be used without all gaskets being properly installed. Avoid the danger of death from electric shock! Before use, ensure that the mains voltage available is the same as the required operat- ing voltage for the product (220‒240 V∼). Before connecting the product to the mains you should always check the light chain and the mains adapter for any damage. Never use the product if you discover that it is damaged in any way.14 GB/IE This products external flexible wiring is non- replaceable. Hence if it becomes damaged you must dispose of the entire product. Never open any of the electrical parts or in- sert any kind of object into them. Protect the mains cable from sharp edges, mechanical loads and hot surfaces. Do not install with sharp fasteners or nails. Always unplug the power pack from the socket before installation, dismantling or cleaning. Never touch the product plug or the product itself with wet hands. The product must not be electrically connected to another ligth chains. If the product is not in use for any length of time (e.g. holidays), disconnect it from the power supply. If you have any questions about the product or are unsure about any of its aspects, please seek the advice of an electrical equipment specialist. Only use the product with the supplied power pack for the type Model No.: S0135G045W2D; all warranty claims will otherwise expire. The light chain is protected against splashes of water (IP44) as long as the socket meets the minimum protection standard. The LED driver can only be replaced by a professional. Mounting the lampions (see Fig. B) Lay down the lanterns

(bigger openings) facing upwards. Insert the cordless end of the lantern stretcher

into the lampion’s upper and lower open- ing. While doing so place the the lantern stretcher’s two arms

centrally onto the rim of the lower opening. Hold on to the lantern stretcher. Pull the eyelets

upwards and hang them onto the hangers

You can fix the product on the of window frames or stair railings and fix the product by attaching it with the help of mounting material such as cable ties. (Mounting material is not included). Use Insert the plug on end of the light chain

into the socket of the mains adapter

Turn the connecting cap

of the mains lead clockwise to fix the connection. Insert the mains adapter

into the mains socket. Push the timer button

, the product is (permanently) switched on. Please note that the power adapter continues to draw a small amount of power even if the product is turned off as long as the power adapter is plugged into a power outlet. To switch the product off completely, unplug the power adapter from the socket. Timer function The Timer button

has three functions: 1 x press of the button: The product lights up continuously. 2 x press of the button: The product lights up continuously for 6 hours and then switches itself off for 18 hours. The product will then switch on again for 6 hours at the allocated time and then switch off for 18 hours. Note: The Timer button

lights up when the timer function has been activated. 3 x press of the button: The product is switched off. To switch the product off completely, unplug the power adapter from the socket. Cleaning and care CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! First pull the mains adapter out of the mains socket.15 GB/IE CAUTION! DANGER OF ELECTRIC SHOCK! For reasons of electrical safety the product must never be cleaned with water or other liquids or immersed in water. Do not use any solvents, petrol or similar items. This would damage the product. Only a dry, lint-free cloth should be used for cleaning. After cleaning, plug the product back into the socket. Disposal The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose of at local recycling facilities.
