- Batteries, when swallowed, can be life-threatening. You should therefore keep the item and batteries out of reach of children. If a battery is swallowed, medical assistance must be sought immediately.
DANGER for children
- Keep children away from packaging material. Risk of choking if swallowed. Also beware that children do not pull the packaging material over their heads.
RISK of fire/burning and/or explosion
- There is a risk of explosion if batteries are replaced incorrectly. Replace the battery using only the same or an equivalent type of battery. Pay attention to the "Technical Data".
- Batteries must not be recharged, reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited. Otherwise there is an increased risk of explosion and of leakage; furthermore, gases may escape.

Transmitter: Inserting batteries
In order to use the scales, you will need 2 batteries of type LR03 (AAA), 1.5 V (included). The battery compartment is located on the rear side of the transmitter.
- Push the locking tab downwards and remove the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the batteries as shown on the base of the battery compartment. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-).
- Put the battery compartment cover back in place. The locking tab must snap securely into place.
Receivers: Remove the iso-strip
The batteries (type CR2032, 3 V) are already inserted on delivery and, for protection against premature discharge, are provided with an iso-strip.
The following description applies to both receivers.
- With the help of a narrow coin or similar object, open the battery compartment by twisting the battery compartment cover in the OPEN arrow direction.
- Pull out the iso-strip; to do this, you may need to remove the battery briefly.
- Then reinsert the battery in the correct orientation.
Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The plus pole (+) must point upwards. - Then, replace the battery compartment cover and twist it in the CLOSE arrow direction until it stops.
Notes on changing the batteries

- If the range of the transmitter diminishes, the beeps can only be heard quietly, or the receivers no longer react, then the batteries have to be exchanged.
- Only use the type of battery that is specified in the "Technical Data".
- Always change both batteries at the same time.
- Dispose of batteries in an environmentally appropriate way (see "Disposal").
Operation
- Attach the receivers to the objects that you wish to find again when you lose them, e.g. to a bunch of keys or a bag.
- Press one of the coloured buttons on the transmitter.
-The colour flashes.
- The correspondingly coloured receiver emits several beeps so that you can quickly localise the object you're searching for.

- Always check whether the transmitter and receivers are working.
- The radio signal range is approx. 30 metres outdoors. Obstacles, e.g. concrete walls, limit the signal range.
Cleaning
- Wipe down the transmitter and receivers as needed using a lightly dampened, soft cloth.
