Install the battery in accordance with the polarities shown. GB6

Press the power button. A buzzer will sound indicating the product is switched on. The display will show the letters ‘HI’ and then the value ‘0.0 kg’. Attach the strap to the bag handle and lift the item using the scale handle. When the weight is detected it will set automatically on the display (auto hold function). Press the button again to reset the scales to 0.0 and the device will switch off automatically after a few seconds. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS To change the unit of measurement, press the power button when the display shows ‘HI’ to convert units from kg to lb (and vice versa). When the display shows the word ‘HOLD’, press the power button again to unlock the auto hold function.

MAINTENANCE AND CARE

Please clean the appliance with a damp and soft cloth avoiding any water seepage inside the scale. Do not use chemical detergents. Never deep the product into water. Avoid shaking, dropping or shocking the scale. This is a precision instrument and must be handled with care. Never try to repair the scale by yourself but always address to specialised centres; otherwise, the warranty will be not valid anymore. It is advisable to store the scale in a clean place. Dust, dirt, moisture, vibration, air currents, can all cause an adverse effect on the reliability and accuracy of your scale. When the unit is not used for a long period of time, it is advisable to remove battery, as their leaking can6

damage the appliance. When the scale is switched off, never place or lay any objects on it. ATTENTION Use this product only for its intended purpose, as described in this instruction manual such as an electronic scale for domestic use only.Any other use should be considered improper and dangerous. Packaging components (plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene etc.) must be kept out of the reach of children as they have the potential to be dangerous and their disposal should be carried out according to the current regulations. During the weighing procedure, food must come in contact only with special container, suitable for this purpose. DISPOSAL The device (including its removable parts and accessories) must not be disposed of together with municipal waste at the end of its life, but in compliance with European Directive 2002/96/EC.
