FB: Full Back This article protects the whole of the area of the back. Protective equipment worn on the back, the purpose of which is to minimise the severity of impact injuries in the areas of the central part of the back and shoulder blades. 2: level 2 (performance level 2) T-: impact test passed at low temperature Suitable for winter sport. List of contents 1 x Back Protector 1 x Instructions for use Proper use This protector (if correctly used and worn) offers a limited shield against the consequences of strong mechanical forces, such as those which may occur in the event of a fall or a collision. In the case of a fall, for example, it may reduce the extent of abrasive burns and contusions in the area of the body protected. Complete protection against injury cannot, however, be guaranteed! Please see the “Size check” section to determine the correct size for you. Use the article together with appropriate clothing and further protective equipment such as a helmet and gloves. This article is for personal use only and has been tested in accordance with the DIN EN 1621-2: 2014 Standard. This article is suitable for use when motor cycling or taking part in winter sport. Technical data This article is available in three sizes. Check that you have opted for the correct size on the basis of the length between your waist and shoulders. Please note! Do not use the article if it does not fit the length between your waist and shoulders. In such a case, exchange the article for a protector which is the correct size for you – see the “Size check” section.11
  • Make sure that the article is being worn cor- rectly. The protector needs to be centred on the spine and fixed in this position. The article must not impede or distract the wearer. Articles which are not worn in the correct position do not provi- de protection and may cause additional dama- ge in the event of an accident! This article only offers a certain degree of impact protection to the areas of the body covered.
  • This article has been tested pursuant to the DIN EN 1621-2: 2014 Safety Standard and is suitable for use when skiing, snowboarding or riding a motor cycle.
  • Do not make any alterations to the article as this will negate the protective effect.
  • Ensure that the article is suited to your body’s dimensions.
  • When in use, the removable protector must always be located in the correct intended position. The protective effect will otherwise be negated.
  • Check the article prior to use and following a fall for any damage which may have occur red (e.g. damage to the seams, padding, plastic elements etc.). Articles which are damaged do not afford protection and may cause additional damage in the event of an accident! Do not continue to use an article which is damaged!
  • Replace the article with a new article following a fall or if damage to the article has occurred.
  • Always wear the article over an item of outer clothing but under a jacket, in order to ensure additional fixing to the body.
  • Make sure that the protector is lying in the cor- rect position within the article. The article should be tight to the body and should not shift position whilst being worn.
  • Always ride in a safety-conscious manner and avoid unnecessary risks!
  • When riding a motor cycle or when skiing or snowboarding, always wear this article and a helmet.
  • This article can never offer full protection against injuries. It can only help to reduce the severity of an injury. Warning! Dirty articles, changes to an article or incorrect use may constitute a danger to the user.
  • This article does not prevent injuries to the spine.
  • Do not use an article which is too large. Such an article could come into contact with and displace the helmet and thus lead to dan- gerous riding conditions.
  • A single size is not suitable for all body dimensi- ons.
  • The product life time of the article depends on its use. Notwithstanding this, the article must be replaced no more than three years after date of manufacture (version: 09/2017), because the shock-absorbing effect may diminish and chemical impurities may occur. Avoidance of material damage!
  • Do not expose the article to the sun for long periods of time. Damage to the article may otherwise occur.
  • The material used in the article reacts sensi- tively to extreme temperatures. Material properties are limited in the case of very high or very low temperatures. The article is intended for use at temperatures between - 10 degrees and + 23 degrees.
  • Avoid contact with sharp, hot, pointed or dangerous objects.   • Average residual force transmitted in the case of all sizes is < 9 kN. If positioned correctly, the article provides limited protection against the consequences of strong mechanical forces, such as those which may occur in the event of falling from a motor cycle or a fall whilst skiing or snowboarding. Wearing the article may reduce the extent of injury. Complete protection against injury cannot be guaranteed. The article cannot prevent injuries to the spine. Motor cyclists, skiers and snowboarders are recommended to wear a protector as long as this is not viewed as an invitation to become careless or assume a greater degree of risk. The scope of protection afforded by the article will remain intact as long as its original properties remain unchanged.   • Size: L/XL (suitable for body heights of approx. 173 - 191cm), length between waist and shoulders (torso): approx. 500 - 540 mm. Protection zone (Fig. A) The article protects the zone depicted in the figure (1). Sufficient protection is no longer ensured if an article is altered compared to the condition in which it is supplied or if a damaged article is used. Avoid storing the article in places where there are strong sources of heat. Do not store the article near windows, doors or window and door panes. The article must not be bent or folded and should not be exposed to compressive stress for a long period of time, e.g. in a suitcase, between hard objects or in a cupboard. Disposal Dispose of the article and the packaging materi- als in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the pa- ckaging materials out of the reach of children. Notes on the guarantee and service handling The product was produced with great care and under constant supervision.
