What types of pots can I use with the Mirage Cadet 59300 cooktop?

Use pots with a flat bottom with a diameter between 12 and 26 cm, made of ferrous stainless steel, iron, or cast iron. Pots made of aluminum, copper, glass, or ceramic are not compatible.

What should I do if the cooktop does not heat up when turned on?

Check that the pot is induction compatible and that its diameter is sufficient. If the display flashes, the pot is probably too small or unsuitable.

OverheatProtection

This induction rangeisequipped with an over-heat protection feature. If the temperature of the cookingsurface becomes too hot, the unit will turn off. The display will flash "F5" or "F6" to indicate the equipment is "over-heating protection" mode. After the equipment has cooled, press the ON/OFF button. If display does not show "F5" or "F6", the equipment has cooled and it is ready to resume cooking.
