Quartz wall clock CK 1800 | 1801 Intended use The quartz wall clock is used to display the time and is designed for private use. Safety This product may be used by children aged 8 and above, as well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities or lacking experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed in the safe use of the product and understand the risks that may arise. Children must not play with the product. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children, unless they are 8 years of age or older and are being supervised. Batteries, when swallowed, can be life-threatening. Therefore, keep the clock and battery out of the reach of small children. If a battery has been swallowed, medical assistance must be sought immediately. DANGER for children Keep packaging material away from children. There is a risk of choking if swallowed. Also pay attention that children do not pull the packaging material over their heads. RISK of fire/burning and/or explosion There is a risk of explosion if the batteries are replaced improperly. Replace the battery only with the same or a similar type. Pay attention to the “Technical data”. Batteries must not be recharged, reactivated by other means, dismantled, thrown into re, or short-circuited. Remove the battery from the clock when it is depleted or when the clock is not used for a long time. You will thus avoid damage that may result from leakage of battery acid. When inserting and changing the battery, pay attention to the correct polarity(+/-). Quartz wall clock CK 1800 | 1801 Inserting the batteries − Insert the LR6 (AA) battery as indicated at the bottom of the battery compartment. Pay attention to the correct polarity (+/-). The battery must be changed when the hands stop moving. Only use the type of battery that is specied in the “Technical data”. Dispose of the old battery in an environmentally responsible way (see “Disposal”). Setting the time − Use the time knob to set the time. Turn the knob only in the direction of the arrow shown. Attaching the wall clock A hanging loop is located on the back. − Hang the clock up on a nail or a screw. Ensure a secure attachment so that the clock does not fall off and become damaged. Cleaning NOTE on material damage − Do not immerse the clock in water or other liquids. − Never use harsh, scouring or abrasive cleaning agents or the like to clean the clock.
