How to connect the scanner to an Android phone via Bluetooth?

Turn on the scanner and hold the button for 8 seconds to enter Bluetooth HID pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth on your phone, search for 'Barcode Scanner HID' and connect. A beep and a steady blue light confirm the connection.

What to do if the scanner does not scan some barcodes?

Some rare barcodes are disabled by default. You need to enable the corresponding type via a configuration code. Contact support if you don't know the type.

How to restore factory settings?

Scan the factory reset barcode provided in the manual. After scanning, the scanner returns to its initial settings.

What do the different lights mean?

Steady red = charging; red off = charged; flashing red = low or missing battery. Steady blue = wireless connection established. Flashing green = pairing in 2.4G mode. Alternating green and blue flashing = HID pairing. Synchronous = BLE pairing or update.

How to know if the battery is low?

The scanner emits five short beeps and stops scanning. The red light also flashes. Recharge the scanner via the USB base.

How to Use the Barcode Scanner

A. When using 2.4G feature, you can match desktop PCs or PC terminals that do not support Bluetooth. Scanner supports systems such as XP, Win7, Win8, Win10, etc.

B. When using Bluetooth, you can match Android, IOS mobile phones, or PC terminals with bluetooth capabilities.

Setting barcodes

Bluetooth HID mode

Match with Android, iOS mobile phone or PC terminal with Bluetooth function (optional).

Method 1: Manually enter the Bluetooth HID mode

A: Start the scanner, press and hold for 8 seconds, enter the Bluetooth HID pairing mode, the blue and green lights flash alternately.

B: Turn on the Bluetooth in the device, search for Barcode Scanner HID.

C: Click on the Bluetooth device to enter the pairing status.

D: The pairing succeeds "Di", the blue light is always on, in Bluetooth mode.

Method 2: Scan into Bluetooth HID mode

A: Start scanner, scanning "entering code".

Basic function description of the indicator light:

• Steady red light indicates charging, red light off indicates full or no wired charging, red light flashing indicates no battery installed or the battery is not installed well.
• The blue light is steady on, indicating that the wireless or wired connection is normal.
• Green light flashing indicates pairing status in 2.4G mode.
• Green light flashing quickly to indicate the pairing status in SPP mode.
• Green and blue lights flash alternately to indicate pairing status in HID mode.
• Green and blue light flashing synchronously indicates pairing status in BLE mode.
• Green and blue light synchronously flashing indicates entering upgrade status.

Buzzer

• One long sound (first lower then high frequency) indicates that power on means power on.
• One long sound (first high then low frequency) indicates that power on means power off.
• One short sound (low frequency) indicates that the normal barcode is read, or the pairing is successful, or the wireless connection is successful.
• One short sound (first lower then high frequency) indicates that scanned data is stored in the storage area.
• One short sound (first high then low frequency) Indicates that the setup code was scanned.
• Three short sounds (low frequency) indicates that the wireless transmission failed or the storage is full.
• Five short tones (low frequency) and stop scanning indicates that the battery is power off.
• Two short tones (low frequency) indicates wireless disconnection.

How to do if I can't connect to my Android phone bluetooth?

Make sure that the phone is android 3.0 or above and you can connect directly.

Why we can't scan for some barcodes ?

Because some of the less commonly used barcodes are turned off by default at the factory, you can scan them normally by turning on the corresponding barcode settings. If you don't know the barcode type, please contact the manufacturer.

Why I can't upload barcodes to my computer or mobile phone after pairing?

A. Confirm whether the pairing is successful, the scanner LED display is blue if pairing bluetooth successfully
B. Whether the counting function has been enabled (the bar code will not be uploaded automatically in the inventory mode), you need to manually scan the corresponding barcode upload).
C. Change to normal mode, you can upload while scanning.

How to do if the computer or mobile phone cannot find the scanner bluetooth?

Make sure whether the selected communication mode is Bluetooth HID mode. Because other communication modes require related test tools, please contact the manufacturer if you need it.
