Follow the safety instructions of the manufacturer of the cold water high-pressure cleaner!

⚠️DANGER

The water in the once-through boiler may contain germs after longer interruptions of operation lasting several days. Hence, spray the stale water into the drain for a few seconds first when using it in the food sector.

→ Switch the power switch of the hot water generator to "1/ON".
→ Switch on the cold water high-pressure cleaner as described in the manufacturer's operating instructions.

When the amount of water flowing through is sufficient, the burner will start automatically.

→ Unlock the trigger gun by pushing in and engaging the safety latch.

When activating the hand spray gun the cold water high-pressure cleaner switches on.

Cleaning

→ Perform the cleaning operation.

Note: To prevent damage due to too much pressure, always position high pressure ray first from a greater distance towards object to be cleaned.

Turn off the appliance

⚠️DANGER

Danger of scalding from hot water! After operation with hot water, the device must be operated with opened handgun with cold water for at least two minutes.

→ Switch the power switch of the hot water generator to "0/OFF".
→ Operate the device with opened hand-gun with cold water for at least two minutes.
→ Shut off water supply.
→ Switch off the cold water high-pressure cleaner as described in the manufacturer's operating instructions.
→ Actuate the trigger gun until the cold water high-pressure cleaner and hot water generator are depressurised.
→ Secure the trigger gun by pulling out and engaging the safety latch.

→ Remove the high-pressure hose from the high-pressure input.
→ Pull main plug out of socket with dry hands only.

Storing the Appliance

→ Insert the trigger gun in the holder on the frame together with the spray lance.
→ Roll up high pressure hose and electrical conduit and hang them into the respective holders.

Note: Do not twist high pressure hose and electrical conduit.

Shutdown

→ Unscrew the retaining plate.
→ Remove the fuel tank.
→ Rinse out the fuel tank.
→ Refit and assemble the fuel tank.

Decalcify appliance

If deposits accumulate in the pipelines, this increases the flow resistance and the motor load of the cold water high-pressure cleaner becomes too great.

⚠️DANGER

Risk of explosion due to combustible gases! Smoking strictly prohibited during decalcification. Ensure proper ventilation.

⚠️DANGER

Risk of burns injury on account of acid! Wear protective glasses and protective gloves.

Procedure:

According to statutory requirements, only tested and approved boiler decrusting agents may be used.

- RM 100 (Order No. 6.287-008) dissolves chalk and simple compounds of chalk and detergents residues.

- RM 101 (Order No. 6.287-013) dissolves the deposits that cannot be dissolved using RM 100.

→ Fill a 20 litre container with 15 l water.

→ Add one litre of boiler decrusting agent.

→ Connect the water hose directly to the pump head of the cold water high-pressure cleaner and hang the free end into the container.

→ Place the spray lance connected to the hot water generator in the container without the nozzle.

→ Switch on the cold water high-pressure cleaner as described in the manufacturer's operating instructions.

→ Open the hand-spray gun and do not close it during the decalcification process.

→ Switch the cold water high-pressure cleaner off and allow it to stand for at least 2 hours. The trigger gun must remain open.
→ Once this time has elapsed, pump out the decrusting agent of the cold water high-pressure cleaner and hot water generator without spray lance and hand spray gun.

Frost protection

ATTENTION

Risk of damage! Freezing water in the appliance can destroy parts of the appliance.

- Store the appliance in a heated room during winter or empty it. During longer breaks in operation, it is advisable to pump in anti-frost agents into the appliance.

- If it is not possible to store frost free, shut down device.

  • Drain water:
→ Unscrew the high-pressure hoses from the high-pressure input and high-pressure outlet.
    ■ Flush appliance with anti-freeze agent:

Note: Observe handling instructions of the anti-freeze agent manufacturer.

→ Rinse the cold water high-pressure cleaner and hot water generator (burner off) thoroughly with a commercially available anti-frost agent.

A certain corrosion protection is achieved with this as well.
