Thanks to its technology, design and operation and the fact that it exceeds the strictest quality standards, a fully satisfactory use and long product life can be assured. Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident. Clean all the parts of the product that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the cleaning section, before use. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. 9.EN If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately disconnect the appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric shock. Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the oor, if there are visible signs of damage or if it has a leak. Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance. Do not clip or crease the power cord. Before using the product for the rst time, we recommend running it just with water. Before using the product for the rst time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section. USE Extend the cable completely before plugging it in.EN Ensure the blade xing ring is xed properly to the jar (by turning counter clockwise) before putting on the motor body. (Fig.1). Place the jar onto to the motor unit until it ts properly into place (Fig.2). Put the ingredients, after having rst chopped them into small piece, into the jar with liquid (do not exceed the maximum marker). Put the lid on the jar; make sure it is properly xed in place. Put the cup in the lid. Connect the appliance to the mains. The pilot light (I) comes on. Turn the appliance on, by using the selection knob. If you wish to add more ingredients pull out the cup. Add the ingredients and replace the cup. To stop the appliance set the speed back to “0”. To avoid a erce, start up of the fan, it is advisable to start o from the lowest speed position and, once the fan has been switched on, progressively increase the speed to the desired position.

ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL

The speed of the appliance can be regulated by using the speed regulator control (I). This function is very useful, as it makes it possible to adapt the speed of the appliance to the type of work that needs to be done.

ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING

THE APPLIANCE Stop the appliance, selecting position 0 on the selector control. Unplug the appliance from the mains. Lift the jar from the motor body. Clean the appliance.

“PULSE / ICE CRUSH” FUNCTION

The appliance works in highest speed to achieve optimal performance. This function gives optimal result for ice-crushing, up to desired snowy level. Turn the speed selector knob to the left to operate the Pulse function (J). We recommend working by turning the knob in cycles of 3 seconds and repeating the operation until you obtain the desired result.

SAFETY THERMAL PROTECTOR

The appliance has a safety device, which protects the appliance from overheating. If the appliance turns itself o and does not switch itself on again, disconnect it from the mains supply, and wait for approximately 15 minutes before reconnecting. If the machine does not start again seek authorised technical assistance. Cleaning Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.

Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing- up liquid and then dry. Do not use solvents, or products with an acid or base pH such as bleach, or abrasive products, for cleaning the appliance. Do not let water or any other liquid get into the air vents to avoid damage to the inner parts of the appliance. Never submerge the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water. During the cleaning process, take special care with the blades, as they are very sharp.

Remove the blade set, sealing blade ring and jar base and clean them. (Fig.4). After cleaning, replace the blade opposite direction (Fig.5).
