CENENGLISH Dear customer, Many thanks for choosing to purchase a Mellerware brand product. Thanks to its technology, design and operation and the fact that it exceeds the strictest quality standards, a fully satisfactory use and long product life can be assured. Read these instructions carefully before switching on the appliance and keep them for future reference. Failure to follow and observe these instructions could lead to an accident. Clean all the parts of the product that will be in contact with food, as indicated in the cleaning section, before use. This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. This appliance can be used by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental Safety advice and warnings capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. This appliance is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance due to a sudden steaming. Blades are sharp and could cause harm, be careful and avoid direct contact with the blades’ cutting edges. Pay special attention when handling the blades, during assembly and disassembly operations, emptying the bowl and during cleaning. Always switch o the appliance and disconnect from

supply if it is left unattended and before changing accessories or approaching parts that move in use, assembling, disassembling and cleaning. If the connection to the mains has been damaged, it must be replaced, take the appliance to an authorised technical support service. Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance by yourself in order to avoid a hazard. This appliance is for household use only, not professional, industrial use. Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage before plugging in the appliance. Connect the appliance to a socket that can supply a minimum of 10 amperes. Instructions for use BEFORE USE Make sure that all products’ packaging has been removed. Before using the product for the rst time, clean the parts that will come into contact with food in the manner described in the cleaning section. USE Extend the cable completely before plugging it in. Connect the appliance to the mains. EXTRACTING FUNCTION Fill ingredients into the tall or short cup. Twist on the extractor blade. Place the cup onto the base. Press down and twist to lock the motor on. You can see the extraction process happening. Keep an eye on the consistency. The smoothy is ready when it looks smooth and creamy. MILLING FUNCTION Fill ingredients into the short cup. Twist on the milling blade. Place the cup onto the base. Press down and twist to lock the motor on. Mill your ingredients until you achieve the desired consistency. SHAKE TECHNIQUE Sometimes, if you over ll the cups with ingredients or don’t put enough water, the results can increase the density of the mixture. This makes it hard for the ingredients toward the top of the cup to make it down to the blade. If some of your ingredients are having a hard time making it down to the blade, simply do the following steps: - Remove the cup and blade assembly from the power base. - With the cup and blade assembly in hand, shake it like a cocktail shaker. Then put it backon the power base.

ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING

THE APPLIANCE To stop the appliance, remove the cup from the base by turning it counter-clockwise. Unplug the appliance from the mains. Clean the appliance.EN

If the appliance is not in good condition of cleanliness, its surface may degrade and inexorably aect the duration of the appliance’s useful life and could become unsafe to use. SELF CLEANING FUNCTION

For tough debris, ll the cup ½ full with warm (not hot), mild soapy water. Then, simply twist on the blade, pop it on the base and give it a run for 30-45 seconds. Anomalies and repair Take the appliance to an authorised technical support service if product is damaged or other problems arise.
