USER MANUAL MPV 1704 SR Trevi

Do not use power supply with a voltage higher than 5V - cause damage to the player.

• Listen at high volume for long periods of time, may damage your hearing.
• Avoid using it in the following cases:
• Near strong heat sources, such as central heating plants or stoves.
• In very humid places such as bathrooms, swimming pools, etc.
  In very dusty places.
• In places subject to strong vibrations.
• Position the appliance in such a way that there is always enough room for free air circulation (at least 5 cm).
• Do not block the air inlets.
• If any liquid enters the appliance, unplug it immediately from the socket and take it to the nearest TREVI authorised service centre.
• Before switching on the appliance, always check that the power cable and the connection cable are properly installed.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on this.
• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no object filled with water, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.
• Keep this manual for future reference.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive substances.

IMPORTANT

The construction of this device guarantees long flawless operation. However, if come some problem, you should consult your nearest authorized service center.

Warning! Misuse of the battery may cause explosion or overheating of the battery.

To avoid possible hearing damage, limit the time listening at high volumes.

CHARGING BATTERY

MPV 1704 SR

MPV I704 SR has a rechargeable Lithium battery inside.

1) Using the supplied USB cable, connect the side with the Micro USB socket to the socket (2) and the other end to the USB port of a PC or a USB battery charger (5V, IA not included). The indicator Light (4) will flash red;
2) When charging is completed, the indicator Light (4) will remain lit with a steady red light.

MICRO SD MEMORY

1) Position the microSD card (not supplied) holding the surface with the written side facing down and insert it gently into the appropriate entry (3) until you hear a click. At this point the reader is able to play the music tracks on the microSD card;
2) To remove the microSD card, press against it.

MP3/ WMA AUDIO FILE TRANSFER FROM PC TO THE microSD MEMORY

1) Connect the player to your PC with USB cable connected to the Micro USB socket (2);
2) The micro SD memory will be automatically recognized by the computer;
3) Drag MP3 or WMA songs from the music folder to the player.

Note:

• To remove the memory of the micro-SD card use the "Safely remove hardware".
• Do not disconnect the USB cable at any time when data transferring.

POWER ON/ OFF, TRACK AND MAIN FUNCTIONS

1) Press and hold PLAY/PAUSE button (7) for 3 seconds to turn on the player. With audio file the player will automatically start playing. The

indicator Light (4) will flash blue;

Note: If there is no audio file, the indicator light (4) will flash pink and the player will turn off automatically.

2) Press PLAY/PAUSE button (7) to stop playback temporarily. The indicator light (4) will remain blue;

Note: When pause up to 2 minutes, they player will turn off automatically

3) Press▶PLAY/PAUSA button (7) again to return to normal playback;
- Press NEXT button (9) for Next track;
- Press PREV button (6) for Previous track;
- Press VOL+ button (5) to increase the volume;

Note: An acoustic signal will warn when the maximum volume level has been reached.

• Press VOL- button (8) to decrease the volume;
• Slide the switch (10) to the position for sequential play mode; Slide the switch (10) to the position for shuffle play mode;
  4) Press▶PLAY/PAUSA button (7) for 3 seconds to turn off the player.

INFORMATION NOTE ON THE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES

Warning: Only high-qualified personnel should perform this operation!

BATTERY REMOVAL

1) Remove the frontal part of the appliance from cogs;
2) To find the battery;
3) Disconnect and remove the battery.

Used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste or thrown into fire or water. Used batteries should be recycled or disposed of separate waste collection centres.
