• Listen at high volume for long periods of time, may damage your hearing.

• Avoid using it in the following cases: - Near strong heat sources, such as central heating plants or stoves. - In very humid places such as bathrooms, swimming pools, etc. - In very dusty places. - In places subject to strong vibrations. - Position the appliance in such a way that there is always enough room for free air circulation (at least 5 cm).

• Do not block the air inlets.

• If any liquid enters the appliance, unplug it immediately from the socket and take it to the nearest TREVI authorised service centre.

• Before switching on the appliance, always check that the power cable and the connection cable are properly installed.

• No naked ame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on this.

• The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing water and no object lled with water, such as vases, should be placed on the unit.

• Keep this manual for future reference.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

For cleaning it is recommended to use a soft, slightly damp cloth. Avoid solvents or abrasive substances. IMPORTANT The construction of this device guarantees long awless operation. Ho- wever, if come some problem, you should consult your nearest authorized service center. TREVI pursues a policy of continuous research and development. To avoid possible hearing damage, limit the time listening at high volumes. English Warning! Misuse of the battery may cause explosion or overheating of the battery.

English CHARGING BATTERY MPV 1704 SR has a rechargeable Lithium battery inside.

1) Using the supplied USB cable, connect the side with the Micro USB socket

to the socket (2) and the other end to the USB port of a PC or a USB battery charger (5V, 1A not included). The indicator Light (4) will ash red;

MP3/ WMA AUDIO FILE TRANSFER FROM PC TO THE micro- SD MEMORY

1) Connect the player to your PC with USB cable connected to the Micro

2) The micro SD memory will be automatically recognized by the computer;

3) Drag MP3 or WMA songs from the music folder to the player.

Note: - To remove the memory of the micro-SD card use the “Safely remove hardware”. - Do not disconnect the USB cable at any time when data transferring. POWER ON/ OFF, TRACK AND MAIN FUNCTIONS

1) Press and hold PLAY/PAUSE button (7) for 3 seconds to turn on

the player. With audio le the player will automatically start playing. TheMPV 1704 SR

English indicator Light (4) will ash blue; Note: If there is no audio le, the indicator light (4) will ash pink and the player will turn off automatically.

2) Press PLAY/PAUSE button (7) to stop playback temporarily. The

indicator light (4) will remain blue; Note: When pause up to 2 minutes, they player will turn off automatically

3) Press PLAY/PAUSA button (7) again to return to normal playback;

- Press NEXT button (9) for Next track; - Press PREV button (6) for Previous track; - Press VOL+ button (5) to increase the volume; Note: An acoustic signal will warn when the maximum volume level has been reached. - Press VOL- button (8) to decrease the volume; - Slide the switch (10) to the position for sequential play mode; Slide the switch (10) to the position for shufe play mode;

4) Press PLAY/PAUSA button (7) for 3 seconds to turn off the player.

INFORMATION NOTE ON THE REMOVAL AND DISPOSAL OF BATTERIES

Warning: Only high-qualified personnel should perform this

operation! BATTERY REMOVAL

1) Remove the frontal part of the appliance from cogs;

2) To nd the battery;

3) Disconnect and remove the battery.

Used batteries should not be disposed of with household waste or thrown into re or water. Used batteries should be recycled or disposed of in separate waste collection centres.MPV 1704 SR
