  • If you wish to stop the kettle before the water has boiled, you must switch off the appliance before removing the kettle from its base.

  • Our warranty does not cover water kettles that malfunction resulting from failure to descale.
  • The kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.

USE AND OPERATION

Before using your Kettle

If you are using the kettle for the first time, it is recommended that you clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water twice and then discarding the water.

Operation of your Kettle

  1. Open the lid by pulling up the lid knob; fill with the desired amount of water to the water kettle. Always fill the kettle between the minimum and maximum marks. Too little water will result in the kettle switching off before the water has boiled. NOTE: Do not fill the water over the maximum level, as water may spill out of the spout when boiling. Ensure that the lid is firmly in place before connecting the power cord to the outlet.
  2. Connect the plug into a power outlet. Press the on/off switch button " on the handle and the kettle starts to boil the water. The LED lights inside the kettle will illuminate red. The kettle will switch off automatically once the water has boiled. You can shut off the power by pressing the switch button again at any moment during boiling water. NOTE: Ensure that the lid is firmly closed.
  3. Take the plug out of the outlet. Lift the kettle then pour the water. NOTE: operate carefully when pouring the water from your kettle as boiling water will scald.
  4. The kettle will not re-boil until the switch is pressed again. Allow to cool for 30~40 seconds before reope- ning to boil water. NOTE: Ensure power supply is turned off when kettle is not in use.
  5. Should you accidentally allow the kettle to operate without water; the boil-dry protection will automatically switch it off. If this occurs, allow the kettle to cool before filling with cold water and re-boiling.

Press the temperature control button to choose your desired water temperature 50^ , 70^ , 80^ or 90^ , the corresponding indicator light on handle will be on. Then press the on/off switch button", the kettle will start heating with different colour LED lights inside. When the desired temperature reaches, the kettle will stop heating and send out beep sounds.

50^ :Greenlight.

70^ : Blue light.

80^ : Purple light.

90^ : Yellow-green light.

Keep warm function

Press button "to choose your desired water temperature 50^ , 70^ , 80^ or 90^ , the corresponding indicator light on handle will be on. Press and hold the on/off switch button "for approx. 3 seconds, the corresponding indicator light on handle begins to flash and the kettle starts heating with LED lights illuminating inside. When the set temperature is reached, beep sounds will be heard. The kettle will keep the water warm for 30 minutes and then shut off automatically.

Note: Press and hold the on/off switch button " for approx. 3 seconds without choosing the temperature, by default the kettle will heat to 50^ for keeping warm.

Filter

This water kettle is equipped with a filter. You can add tea or fruit in to the filter before heating to brew together with the water.

CARE AND CLEANING

Note: Before your cleaning, please unplug the electrical kettle and make sure it has been cooled down. Never immerse any part of the cable, plug, power cord base or kettle in water or any other liquid.

Exterior of the Kettle

  • Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a piece of damp cloth and then dry it with a piece of dry cloth.
  • Never use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents as these may damage the finish of your kettle.

Dscaling the Kettle

Over using a period of time, lime scale would be built up inside of your kettle. To remove lime scale:

Method 1
1 Half fill the kettle with water and add the juice of a lemon.
2 Boil up the water and allow it to stand for 15 minutes before discarding.
3 Repeat steps 1 and 2 several time, please using cold water only.
Method 2 (for stubborn deposits)
1 Fill the kettle with water and vinegar or juice (citric acid) or use a special descaling agent available in household stores.
2 Leave the kettle for 1 hour, then boil the water.
3 Empty the kettle and rinse it thoroughly with cold water.
4 If necessary repeat the procedure 1-3 times.
5 To eliminate the smell of vinegar, boil fresh water several times and pour it out.
6 Wipe the interior and exterior surfaces of the kettle with a cloth.

Note: Do not use wire brush or any other abrasive objects. Do not clean the kettle with strong detergents.
