Frequently Asked Questions - Gulliver 10031991 Klarstein

How do I turn on the kettle to boil water?
To boil water, simply press the ON/OFF button on the right. The kettle will heat water to 100°C and automatically shut off. Do not press a temperature button.
How do I select a specific temperature like 70°C for tea?
Press one of the temperature buttons (60°C, 70°C, 80°C, 90°C). The kettle will heat to that temperature and then automatically stop. The indicator light will change from flashing to constant.
Does the kettle have a keep warm function?
Yes. First select a temperature (60-90°C), then press the left button to activate keep warm. The kettle will maintain that temperature until you cancel it by pressing the left button again.
What should I do if the kettle turns off before boiling?
This is usually due to limescale buildup. Run a decalcifying cycle using a descaling agent (follow product instructions). Do not boil the solution as it may foam.
Can I fill the kettle through the spout?
Yes, you can fill through the spout without opening the lid. Alternatively, press the button on the handle to open the lid for filling.
How do I clean the kettle?
Always unplug first. Do not immerse in water. Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Rinse the interior occasionally with clean water. Clean the mesh filter by lifting it out.
What is the minimum water level?
Fill at least 0.5 L to prevent dry boiling. The water level should be visible in the window and not exceed the MAX mark.
Why won't the kettle switch on?
After dry boiling (running with little or no water), let the kettle cool down for a few minutes. The thermal protector will reset, and it will work again.
Can children use this kettle?
Children aged 8 and above can use it under supervision. Keep the kettle and cord out of reach of children under 8. Cleaning should be done by children only if supervised.
What should I do if the kettle does not switch off?
Ensure the lid is closed and locks properly. Also check that the mesh filter is correctly inserted. The auto shut-off relies on steam detection.
