• The product is intended for private, non- commercial use only.

• Use the product for its intended purpose only.

• Protect the product from dirt, moistureand overheating and use it in dry rooms only.

• Donot use the product in the immediate vicinity of heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.

• Donot drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.

• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to locally applicable regulations.

• Donot modify the product in any way.Doing so voids the warranty.

• Make surethat cables do not pose atripping hazardorblock emergency exits. Warning Do not open the product. • Close all programmes used for sound reproduction.

• Plug the USB sound cardinto afreeUSB port and wait until the operating system detects and activates the device.

• Your operating system might not automatically use the sound cardasadefault device. In this case, you must manually select „USB audio device“ or „hama USB sound card7.1“ as adefault device in the „Sounds and Audio Devices“ menu or „Sound“ menu (Vista) in the Control Panel.

• The sound cardisnow ready for operation. If you want to use „7.1 Virtual Surround Sound“ and other softwarefunctions, such as the equalizer,you must install the driver from the enclosed CD.

• Insert the CD in your CD-ROM drive. The mask for the installation procedureopens automatically. Click „Next“.3

headphones or loudspeakers to the sound card.

2. Hereyou can test the individual loudspeakers.

• In this mask, you can mute or set the total volume control, the volume for individual audio signals or the signal strength for the microphone. Youcan also change the balance between the right and left loudspeakers.

• If the signal strength of the microphone is not sucient, although the microphone control is turned all the way up, then click on the hammer symbol next to the scale. Check the box next to „Microphone amplier” and click „OK”.4 Effecte In the „Effects“mask, you can choose from 27 various sound effects and 3different room sizes. Youalso have an equalizer with 11 different presets. Karaoke Hereyou can adjust the tone as required and mute the voice.
