How to install the dashcam?
Attach the suction cup mount to a clean, dry windshield. Open the locking lever, place the suction cup, then close the lever. Adjust the angle and tilt by loosening the screw on the articulated head. Then slide the dashcam into the mount until it clicks into place.
Does recording start automatically?
Yes, when the dashcam is connected to the car charger, it powers on automatically as soon as the engine starts and begins video recording in default video mode. You can pause/resume with the OK button.
How to activate motion detection?
In video mode, press MENU to open settings. Use the navigation buttons to select Motion Detection, then press OK to activate it. The corresponding icon appears on the screen.
How to set date and time?
Press MENU twice to access general settings. Select Date/Time with OK. Use the ◀/▶ buttons to set year, month, day, and time, confirming each step with OK. Finish with MENU.
How to protect a video file from being overwritten?
During recording, press the Protect button (13). The lock icon appears and the file is saved as LOKXXXXX. These files are not overwritten by loop recording.
How to format the memory card?
Ensure the card is inserted. Press MENU twice to open general settings. Select Format memory card with OK. Confirm formatting by pressing OK or cancel with the arrow.
What to do in case of malfunction or freeze?
Try resetting the dashcam: turn it off, then press the Reset button (4) with a pointed object for about 3 seconds. You can also restore factory settings via the Factory settings menu.
How to clean the dashcam?
Use a slightly damp, lint-free cloth to clean the exterior. Avoid harsh detergents and ensure no liquid enters the product.
Which memory card to use?
The dashcam supports microSD memory cards up to 32 GB. It is recommended to use a high-speed card (Class 10) for smooth recording.
How to view recorded videos?
Turn off the dashcam, remove the microSD card and insert it into the provided card reader. Connect the reader to a computer to transfer files. You can also use the playback mode on the dashcam by pressing MODE several times.

6.1 Mountingthesuctioncupholder

  • Removetheprotectivefilmfromthesuctioncup.
  • Openthelockinglever(15)ofthesuctioncup.
  • Position the holder with the suction cup on a clean, even mounting surface (e.g. glass pane).
  • Lightly press the holder onto the desired mounting surface and close the locking lever (15) to fasten theholder.
    • After mounting, always check to ensure the suction cup is securely attached.
  • To remove the suction cup from the surface, open the locking lever. Then gently pull the flap to completely releasethesuctioncup.

6.2 Settingangleandtilt

The viewing angle and tilt of the holder can be continuously adjusted using a ball head.

7.Operation

7.1.Connectiontothevehicle'selectricalsystem

  • Only uses suitable charging devices with USB connections for charging.
  • As a rule, do not use charging devices or USB connections that are defective and do not try to repair them yourself.
  • Donotoverchargetheproductorallowthebatterytocompletelydischarge.
  • Avoid storing, charging or using the device in extreme temperatures and extremely low atmospheric pressure (forexample, athighaltitudes).
  • When stored over a long period of time, batteries should be charged regularly (at least every three months).

  • ConnecttheincludedMini-USBchargingcabletotheMini-USBchargingsocket(11)ontheDashcamandtothevehiclesocketoftheelectricalsystem.
    • TheDashcamautomaticallyswitchesonwhentheengineisstarted.

The battery has a limited life of about 2–3 minutes. This buffer function is used for continuation of the time, for example. Longer operation is possible only with a connected vehicle adapter.

If the Dashcam is connected to a power source by means of the vehicle charger, it automatically switches on/off when the vehicle is started or switched off.

With some vehicles, it can happen that power continues to be supplied even though the ignition has been switched off. In this case, switch off the camera manually to protect your car battery from discharge.

PressandholdPower[ ↑] (10) for about 3 seconds to manually switch on/off the Dashcam.

7.3. Insertinga m icroSDcard

  • Insert a microSD card into the microSD card slot (2) on the Dashcam.

8.1 Videomode

  • After switching on, the camera is in Video operating mode. 📄 appears at the upper-left edge of the screen.
    • Videorecordingstartsautomaticallywhenyouswitchonthedevice.
  • Press [OK] (7) to stop/start video recording.

Select Off to deactivate this function. Now only one file will be created.

When the picture display is activated, the picture taken is shown on the display for a short time (2/5 seconds). A new picture can only be taken after this time has elapsed.

10. Retrieving therecorded material

Do not remove the microSD card with the Dashcam switched on. This can result in data loss or cause damagethe device.

  • Switch off the Dashcam as described in 7.2 Switching on/off.
  • Remove the camera's microSD card.
  • Connect the microSD card to your PC using the SD card reader (included in delivery).
    • Transfer the stored data to your PC to free up space on the memory card.

11.Savebutton

In the event of an accident, the administering of first aid and the safety of all involved have priority.

To be sure your data is permanently stored, proceed as follows:

  • PresstheSavebutton(13).AufdemDisplayerscheintappearsonthedisplay.
  • Press and hold Power [ ⏻] (10) for about 3 seconds to switch off the camera.
  • Now remove the camera's microSD card.

  • Videos stored after pressing the Save button are stored under the designation 'LOKXXXXX'.
  • Normal video files are stored under the designation 'REC' and a consecutive number.

12. Factorysettings

To reset the Dashcam to the factory default settings, proceed as follows:

  • Switch off the Dashcam as described in 7.2 Switching on/off.
  • Press and hold [Reset] (4) for about 3 seconds using a pointed object.
    • Alternatively, you can restore the factory settings as described in Section 9.3.5 Factory settings.
  • Allsettingsyoumadeare d eleted.

Note

  • Resettingtothefactorydefaultsettingscansolvesomeproblemsandmalfunctions.
    • However, all settings made previously are permanently deleted.
