VF3050 ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Thank you for purchasing a Concept product. We wish you much joy with your new appliance every day you use it. Please read the instruction manual carefully before initial use. To refer to this manual any time you need to, we recommend you to keep it in a safe place. And please pass it to any future owner of the appliance. IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

  • Do not use the appliance in any other way than as described in this manual.
  • Remove all the covering and marketing materials from the appliance before the rst use.
  • Make sure the mains voltage corresponds to the values on the rating plate of the product.
  • The appliance is hot during operation and for some time after switching
  • Therefore, do not touch hot surfaces.
  • Use handles and buttons. There is risk of serious burns!
  • Do not clean, store or cover the appliance until it has cooled completely.

  • Before cleaning and after use of the appliance, switch the appliance o, disconnect it from the mains and allow it to cool down.

WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID! OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Before using the appliance for the rst time, wash the toasting surfaces with a wet cloth. In spite of that, we recommend not to eat the rst two pairs of waes. Wae making procedure

1. Insert the plug into a socket. Make sure that the mains voltage

corresponds to the voltage of the appliance. The power indicator and the “Heat on” indicator will light up.

2. Close the top lid of the wae maker (you can prepare your food

while it is warming up).

5. Your food will be ready in approximately 4 minutes (or longer,

  • Do not close the wae maker by force. A cloud of steam may rise from the toasting surfaces during the toasting process.
  • Please note that the “Heat on” indicator will go on and o during the toasting process as the thermostat maintains the correct temperature of the wae maker.
  • Open the wae maker and remove the food using a plastic or a wooden spatula. Never use a metal knife as it may damage the non-adhesive coating.
  • Close the lid in order to keep the surfaces hot for further toasting.
  • You may prepare another food during the toasting process.
  • When nished, unplug the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Wipe the inside and edges of the grating with a paper towel or a soft cloth.
  • Wipe the surface of the wae maker using only a slightly damp cloth and ensure that no water, grease or oil enter the cooling openings.

Filing a complaint A complaint against a product defect must be led as soon as identied, yet no later than before the end of the warranty term. The customer must le a product complaint with the dealer from which they have purchased the product, or with any authorised service centre, a list of which is included in the product package, or available at www. my-concept.com. While ling a product complaint, the product must be duly cleaned and securely packed so as to prevent any damage during its transport to an authorised service centre, where relevant, unless the product is delivered in person. The customer must submit proof of having concluded a purchase contract for the product by producing the receipt. While ling their complaint, the customer must indicate the noted defect and identify the preferred complaint application method.
