Damagedor entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock. e) When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable foroutdoor use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock. f) If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual currentdevice (RCprotected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

balance at all times. This enables bettercontrol of the power tool in unexpected situations. f) Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep your hair, clothingand gloves away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelle
ry or long hair can becaught in moving parts. g) If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collectionfacilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection canreduce dust-related hazards.
4) Power tool use and care

Use of the power tool for operations dierent from those intended couldresult in a hazardous situation.
a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person using only identicalreplacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained. Additional Safety and Working Instructions Brushes must not be tted to machines whose speed exceeds the maximum permitted brush speed. Do not use damaged brushes. Rust discoloration or other signs of chemical or mechanical change to the brush material can cause premature failure of the brush. Bushes must be stored in suitable stands, containers or boxes in such a way that they are protected from the following eects:
- High air humidity, heat, water or other uids that could cause damage to the brush
- Acids or acidic fumes that could cause damage
- Temperatures that are so low that they could cause condensation to form on the brushes when taken out of storage into an area with higher tempera
- Deformation of any part of the brush Mains Connection Operation is only allowed with a safety switch against stray current (RCD max. stray current of 30mA). Connect only to single-phase AC system voltage as indicated on the rating plate. It is also possible to connect to sockets without an earthing contact as the design conforms to safety class II. Only plug-in when machine is switched o. Maintenance Unplug the machine before any work on it. The appliance must not be used if damaged or safety equipment is defective. Replace any worn-out and damaged parts. Caution! If the power cord of the appliance gets damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its customer service or a similarly qualied person to avoid danger. Repairs and works specied in these Instructions may only be performed by qualied authorised sta. Use only original accessories and original spare parts. Keep the device, in particular the air vents, clean at all times. Never spray water on the device body! Do not clean the plastics with solvents, ammable or toxic uids. For cleaning, use a damp cloth only. Apply environment-friendly oil to all moving parts. Only a regularly maintained and treated appliance can serve as a satisfactory aid. Insucient mainte
nance and care can lead to unforeseen accidents and injuries. If necessary, a list of spare parts can be found at www. guede.com. Guarantee Warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use and 24 months applies to private use and com- mences on the day of purchase of the device.D
The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused by material defect or manufacturing defect. Original payment voucher with the sales date needs to be sub- mitted for any claim in the guarantee period.
