The garden appliance has been designed to blow dry leaves and light garden waste such as dry grass, small branches and dry spruce and pine needles. Do not use this product in any other way as stated for normal use. Not observing general regulations in force and instructions from this manual does not make the manufacturer liable for damages. ENGLISH Residual risks Even when the device is used properly and all safety regulations are complied with, there still may be some residual risks. Hearing damage A longer stay in the immediate vicinity of the running unit may cause hearing damage. Wear ear protectors! Despite the observance of the operating instructions there still may be some hidden residual risks. Symbols WARNING/Caution! Read the operating instructions to reduce the risk of injury. Wear eye protective goggles ! Wear ear protectors! Take the replaceable battery from the appliance before any extension, cleaning and servicing works. Risk of injury by thrown-o items! Keep bystanders out the dangerous area (5 m). Risk of injury by rotating impeller. Keep your hands in safe distance. 360° Keep a safe distance of at least 5 m from third persons. Protect against humidity. Never expose tool to rain. CE marking Any damaged or disposed electric or electronic devices must be delivered to appropriate collection centres. Never use the appliance to disperse chemicals, fer
tilisers or other substances. By this, you will avoid toxic material spread. We recommend wearing a respirator as dust is produced. Do not race when working with the appliance. Walk slowly and cautiously. Provide a safe posture, especially on slopes. Do not use the leaf blower near open windows. Do not use the appliance in bad weather, especially when there is a risk of storm. Never point the leaf blower at persons, animals or yourself. Work instructions Use the appliance only at reasonable times. Not too early in the morning or late at night when people could be disturbed. Observe local regulations. Heavy dirt to be cleaned o at rst and then removed by a rake or broom. Use the complete nozzle so that the air ow could reach close to the ground. Maintenance Take the replaceable battery from the appliance before any extension, cleaning and servicing works. Repairs and works specied in these Instructions may only be performed by qualied authorised sta. Use only original accessories and original spare parts. Keep the device, in particular the air vents, clean at all times. Never spray water on the device body! Never clean the machine and its components with solvents, ammable or toxic liquids. Transport packaging disposal The packaging protects the machine against damage during transport. Guarantee Warranty period of 12 months applies to commercial use and 24 months applies to private use and com- mences on the day of purchase of the device. The guarantee solely covers inadequacies caused by material defect or manufacturing defect. Original payment voucher with the sales date needs to be sub
mitted for any claim in the guarantee period. The guarantee does not cover any unauthorised use such as appliance overloading, use of violence, damage as a result of any unauthorised interference or caused by foreign items. Failing to follow the ope
rating and assembly instructions and common wear are also not included in the guarantee.
