Safety regulations Cooker

• Themanufacturercannotbeheldliableforanydamage resultingfromfailuretofollowthesafetyinstructionsand warnings.

• This appliance and the accessible parts will become hot during use. Don't touch hot parts. Keep children younger than away from the appliance unless they are under continuous supervision.

• This isahouseholdapplianceonly. Itisnotintendedtobeused in:staffkitchenareasinshops, officesandotherworking environments; farmhouses; by clientsinhotels, motelsandother residential type environments; bedandbreakfasttype environments.
• Nevercovertheventilationopenings.

• Alwaysprovideadequateventilation!
• Neveruseapressurecleanerorsteamcleanertocleanthe appliance.
• Onlyusetheapplianceinsidethehome.
• Ensurethatfoodisalwaysheatedthoroughly. Thetimerequired forthisdependsonmanyfactorsincludingthequantityandtype offood. Anybacteriapresentinthefoodareonlydestroyedifthe foodisheatedatatemperaturehigherthan 70^ formorethan 10minutes. Allowthefoodtocookforlongerifyouarenotsure ifthefoodhasbeenheatedthrough.
• Donotuseharshabrasivecleanersorsharpmetalsscrapersto cleantheovendoorglass,sincetheycanscratchthesurface, whichmayresultinshatteringoftheglass.
• Thegapsbetweenthewindowsofthedoorareforventilation and coolingofthewindowsduringuse. This prevents the windows from getting too hot on the outside. Moisture/condensationordirt canget betweenthewindows through these openings. Tipson cleaning can be found on our website.
• Use oven gloves or a pot-holder to remove dishes and accessories fromtheappliance.
• Onlyusethetemperatureproberecommendedforthisoven(for applianceshavingafacilitytouseattemperature-sensingprobe).
• Removeallexcessspillageandutensilsbeforecleaning with pyrolyticselfcleaningfunction.
• If, for cleaning, the control shavetobesettoaposition higher than for normal cooking purposes (pyrolytic), the surfaces may get hotter than usual and children should be kept away.
• Thelampinthishouseholdapplianceisonlysuitablefor illuminationofthisappliance. Thelampisnotsuitablefor householdroomillumination.

• Applianceoperationissafewithandwithoutrayguides.

• Failuretomaintaintheoveninacleanconditioncouldleadtodeteriorationofthesurfacethatcouldadverselyaffectthelifeof theapplianceandpossiblyresultinahazardoussituation.

• Neverheatlongerthannecessary, and rememberthatfood continues to be removed from heat.
• Liquidsandotherfoodstuffsmaynotbeheatedinairtight packagingastheycanexplode.

ELECTRICSHOCK!

• Avoidtheriskoflectricshock;makesuretheapplianceis switchedoffbeforecleaningtheappliance.
• WARNING: Ensure that the appliance isswitched off before replacing the lampto avoid the possibility of electric shock.
• If the glass surface of the hobortheovendoorglass is broken:
• Shut immediately off all burners and any electrical heating element and isolate the appliance from the powersupply.
• Don't touch the appliancesurface.
• Donot use the appliance.

DANGEROFFIRE!

• Inpreparingmealscontainingalcohol, hightemperaturesmay causethealcoholtoevaporate. The vapourcancatchfireifit comesintocontactwithhotparts.
• WARNING:Dangeroffire:donotstoreitemsintheoven.
• If smoke is observed, switch off for unplug the appliance and keep the door closed in order to stop if they are flammable.
• Whenheatingfoodinplasticorpapercontainers,keepaneye ontheovenduetothepossibilityofignition.

DANGEROFFIRE!

• Nevercovertheappliancewithaclothorsomethingsimilar.If theapplianceisstillhotorisswitchedon,thereisariskoffire.
• WARNING: Cooking with fatoroilonahob without supervision can bedangerousandcanleadtoa fire.

-NEVERtrytoextinguishafirewithwater. Instead, switch the applianceoffandthencovertheflameswith,forexample, alidorafireblanket.
-Neverflambéunderacookerhood.Thehighflamescan causeafire,evenifthecookerhoodisswitchedoff.

WARNING!

Useonlyhobguardsdesignedbythemanufacurerofthecooking applianceorindicatedbytheappliancemanufacurerin the instructionsforuseassuitableorhobguardsincorporatedinthe appliance. Theuseofinapproprieguardscancauseaccidents.

• Theceramictopisextremelystrongbutnotunbreakable. Forexample,aspicejarorsharputensilfallingonitcouldcause ittobreak.
• Ceramicglassplatebroke

-Shutimmediatelyoffallburnersandanyelectricalheating elementandisolatetheappliancefromthepowersupply.
- Donottouchtheappliancesurface.
-Donotusetheappliance.

• Thecookingzones/burnersheatupduringuseandstayhotfor awhileafterwards.Keepyoungchildrenawayfromthehobduring andimmediatelyaftercooking.

Gas

WARNING!

Prolongedintensiveuseoftheappliancemaycallforadditional ventilation,foreampleopeningofawindow,ormoreeffective ventilation,foreampleincreasingthelevelofmechanical ventilationwherepresent.

CAUTION: The use of gas cooking appliances in the production of heat, moisture and product of combustion in the room in which it is installed. Ensure that the kitchen is well ventilated especially when the appliance is in use: keep natural ventilation holes open to install mechanical ventilation device (mechanical extractor hood).

• Theburnercomponentsarehotduringandimmediatelyafteruse. Donottouchthem, and avoid contact with non-heatresistant materials.
• Neverimmersehotburnercapsandpansupportsincoldwater. Rapidcoolingcandamagetheenamel.
• Thedistancebetweenthepanandaknobornon-heatresistant wallshouldalwaysbegreaterthanonecentimetre.Inthecase ofsmallerdistances,thehightemperaturemaycausetheknobs orwalltodiscourand/ordeform.
• Alwaysusethepansupportsandsuitablecookware.
• Alwaysplacethepanonthepansupport. Placingthepandirectly ontheburnercapcanresultindangeroussituations.
• Aluminiumtraysorfoilarenotsuitableascookingutensils. They canburnintotheburnercapsandpansupports.
• Thehobcanonlyfunctioneffectivelyiftheburnercomponents havebeenassembledusingtheguideridges.Ensurethat the pansupports Lieproperlyagainsteachotherandflatonthedrip tray.Onlythencanthepansbepositionedstably.
• Keepovenglovesorovenclothsawayfromtheflame.
• Donotusegriddleplatesorbakingplates.
• Cleantheburnerpartsregularlyforthesafeandcorrectoperation oftheburners.
• Missingrubberfeetfromthepansupportscancausescratches onthedriptrayorpoorcombustionoftheburner.lftherubber feetaremissiveing,pleasecontactourservicedepartment.

Inductioncookingzonesandcookingareas

• Donotplacemetalobjectssuchasknives,forks,spoons,and lidsonthesurfaceofthecookinghof;theymaybecomehot.

• Assoonasyouremovethepanfromthehob, thecookingprocess willstopautomatically. Getintothehabitofswitchingoffthe cookingzoneorhobmanuallytoavoidunintentionallyswitching ontheappliance.

• Afteruse, switchoffthehobeblementusingthecontrolsanddon't relyonlyonthepandetector.

• Rememberthatifthehobisusedonahighsettingtheheating timewillbeveryshort.Donotleavethehobunattendedifyouare usingazoneinahighsetting.
• Whentheinductionhobisinuse,keepobjectsthataresensitive tomagneticfields(creditcards,bankcards, discs, watches and similaritems)awayfromthehob. Weadviseanyonewitha pacemakertoconsulttheircardiologistfirst.
• Neverusealuminiumfoilforcookingandneverplaceproducts packagedaluminiummonthehob. Thealuminiumwouldmelt andirreparablydamageyourdevice.

Decorativecover

• Always raisethedecorativecoverwhenusingthehob.Before liftingthedecorativecover,youshouldmakesureitisdry.
• Thedecorativeglasscovercanbreakthroughheating. Ensure that all burners/cookingzonesareswitchedoffandhavecooled downbeforeclosingthedecorativecover.
• If there is water on the decorative cover, dry it before opening. If you fail to do so, moisture may enter the unit.

• Donotusethedecorativecoverasacookingsurface.

• Theovenhasafanthatcoolstheovencasing. Thefanmayrun forsometimeaftertheovenisswitchedoff.

• Donotplaceaccessoriesontheopenovendoor.
• Closetheovendoorduringcooking.
• Opentheovendoorcarefully;hotsteamwillescape.
• Donotstoreflammablematerialsintheoven.
• Frozenproductssuchaspizzasshouldbecookedonthegrid shelf.lfthebakingtrayisused,itmaybecomedeformeddueto thelargedifferencesintemperature.
• Nevercoverthebottomoftheovenwithaluminiumfoil. Thefoil blocksheatflow, which may result in inferior cooking results. This canalsodamagetheenameofthebottomoftheoven.
• Smaller quantities require asshorter cookingtime. Whenthe cookingtimesgiveninrecipesareused, you mightburn them.
• Neverpourcoldwateronthehotovenfloor. Thiscandamage theenamel.
• Fruitjuicescanresultinstainsontheovenfloorthataredificult remove. Whencookingmoistpastries(suchasapplepie), use abakingtin/griddle/roastingtinasadripray.
  Spilledfoodcontainingsugarorfruitjuices,suchasprunejuice orrhubarb,candamagethecolouroftheenameI.Itisadvisable tocleantheovenimmediatelyafterithascooleddown.Note:thewaterinthesteamoveninsertpanisstillhot!
• Donotusebakingtinsthavaveareasofrust.Eventinypatches canleadtorustintheoveninterior.

• This applianceisnotconnectedtoacombustionproducts evacuationdevice. Itshallbeinstalledandconnected in accordancewithcurrentinstallationregulations. Particularattention shallbegiventotherelevantrequirementsregardingventilation.
• We recommend that the cooker be connected by means of a fixed pipe.Connectionusingaspeciallydesignedsafetyhoseisalso permitted.
• Thepipebehindtheovenmustbemadeentirelyoutofmetal.
• Asafetyhosemaynotbebentandmustnotcomeintocontact withmovingpartsof kitchenunits.
• Thegassupplyvalvemustalwaysbeplacedinaneasily accessibleposition.

TIP!
