Carefully read the following operating instructions. Use the product only as described and only for the given areas of application. Keep these instructions safe. When passing the product on to a third party, always make sure that the documentation is included. Protectors for normal roller-skating The European standard EN 14120 defines two protector performance classes: level 1: protectors for normal roller sports and level2: protectors for acrobatic roller sports. You have decided on performance level 1 protectors. Knee pads, elbow pads, palm/hand pads and helmet are part of the complete outfit. Even the best equipment does not give total protection. The risk can be minimised but injuries are always possible as experienced skaters know only too well. Therefore always skate carefully and within your limits. You should preferably attend a skater training school. There you can learn skat- ing technique, which includes how to “fall correctly”. Please note that the efficiency of the protectors can be reduced when subjected to high or low temperatures. To obtain the best possible protection, first select the right size of protec- tors. Try them on to check how they match your knee, arm and hand size. The protectors may not fit too loosely. They should be snug and difficult to move back and forth or out of position. 2. Now put the guards on. Please

make sure that your knees or elbows are completely covered by the plastic caps. Pull the “stocking” over your arm or your leg.5GB/IE

3. Now put the elastic fastening straps around your legs or arms. After this

push the ends at the front of your protector on to the respective hook & loop areas.

4. The knee and elbow pads must be fastened tightly so that they cannot

corresponding openings of the respective protector so that the palm lies on the upholstered inside.

4. Now take hold of the fastening

strap labelled 2 in fig. C and insert it through the loop provided as shown. In order to fasten it, press the fastening strap 2 against the hook & loop area1 provided.

5. Stabilise the wrist as shown in fig. D. Wrap the fastening strap around

your wrist as shown with the arrow and press the end against the hook&loop area.

Maintenance and care General information Material: outer material: polyester; protectors: polypropylene; padding: PE foam Check your protectors before every use, and particularly thoroughly after falls, for signs of damage. If the protectors are defective, for example due to rips, cracks or loose parts, they are no longer in working order. They may, therefore, no longer be used. Please keep the hook & loop free of dirt to maintain adhesive strength. Replace the hook & loop areas as soon as adhesive strength deteriorates. Please do not make any changes to the protectors as the protective func- tion can then no longer be guaranteed. Cleaning Dirt can be removed from your protectors by brushing. Ground in dirt can be removed by washing in lukewarm water or with a neutral detergent solution. Rinse afterwards with clean water. Avoid cleaning the protec- tors with strong cleaning agents or cleaning agents containing solvent. Neverclean them in the washing machine and with a dryer or iron. Storage and transportation The protectors should not be stored or transported in direct sunlight or in a warm place to avoid the risk of formation of cracks or decomposi- tion, which can shorten the life of the protectors and limit their usability considerably. Important: Only protectors in a perfect condition can offer adequate cor- responding protection.7GB/IE 3 Years Warranty The product was produced with great care and under constant supervi- sion. You receive a three-year warranty for this product from the date of purchase. Please retain your receipt. The warranty applies only to material and workmanship and does not apply to misuse or improper handling. Your statutory rights, especially the warranty rights, are not affected by this warranty. With regard to complaints, please contact the following service hotline or contact us by e-mail. Our service employees will advise as to the subse- quent procedure as quickly as possible. We will be personally available to discuss the situation with you. Any repairs under the warranty, statutory guarantees or through goodwill do not extend the warranty period.
