How to use the ChocoLat G10114 milk frother?

Assemble the desired accessory (whisk or mixer) into the container. Pour milk up to the MAX level (300 ml) or between MIN and MAX for frothing (200 ml). Plug in the appliance, then press the button according to the function: once for cold frothing (white light), twice for heating and frothing (blue light), three times for cocoa (red light). The appliance stops automatically at the end of the cycle.

What are the different operating modes?

The appliance offers three modes: Function 1 (1 press, white light) for frothing cold milk or mixing without heating; Function 2 (2 presses, blue light) for heating and frothing milk or heating and mixing; Function 3 (3 presses, red light) for heating and frothing cocoa or heating and mixing other liquids. Function 3 heats to a higher temperature.

What quantity of milk should I use for frothing?

To get good froth, pour milk up to the MAX mark indicated in the container (300 ml) for heating, or between the MIN and MAX marks (200 ml) for frothing. Do not exceed the MAX level to avoid overflow.

Can I heat chocolate or cocoa with this appliance?

Yes, use Function 3 (three presses, red light) which heats to a higher temperature suitable for cocoa. You can use the stainless steel whisk for frothing or the plastic mixer for simply mixing. Be careful not to use this function for milk to avoid burning it.

How do I clean the milk frother?

Unplug the appliance and let it cool. The container and accessories can be washed with water and a non-abrasive sponge and dish soap. Never immerse the base or body, clean them with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive products or solvents. To prevent milk deposits, wash the container immediately after each use.

What if the appliance turns off by itself?

This is normal at the end of a cycle (a beep sounds). The appliance also turns off automatically if it is operated dry (without milk) after a few seconds, thanks to the anti-overheating safety device. In this case, wait for it to cool before using it again with milk.

Can the appliance be used without milk?

It is not recommended to run it dry. If this happens, the safety system cuts off the power after a few seconds to prevent overheating. Wait for the heating element to cool down before restarting.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Never leave the appliance unattended while it is running. Before using for the first time, carefully wash all parts that will come in touch with food such as container.

Fill the appliance with cold milk, being careful to stay within the limits indicated inside the tank.

Always pour milk before turning on the kettle. Never pour liquids after switching on.

If the appliance operates when empty, the safety device shuts it down automatically to prevent any damage.

Once finished, unplug unit and wait for cooling of each part before storing or cleaning.

Don't immerse appliance in water or liquids. In any case, avoid splashing of water or liquids.

Always close the lid before each operation. Put the appliance on stable shelves and floors.

Do not insert any metal object into the product. Remove the whisk, only after having turned off the appliance and unplugged it from the main power outlet.

To avoid the milk to stuck on container, at the end of each use, immediately rinse the container with water.

OPERATING THE UNIT

2 accessories are included:

• A stainless steel whisk to froth milk or chocolate.
• A plastic mixer to mix beverages without mounting.

Pour milk or chocolate (or other beverages) in the container (7), making sure to stay within the limits of the capacity which are indicated inside the container (MIN - MAX). The symbol placed between MIN and MAX indicates the maximum working level if you want to froth milk (200ml) ; the symbol MAX shows the maximum operation level if you just want to heat milk (300ml) .

WARNING: if you exceed the maximum specified levels, the milk will spill out during use.

• Connect plug to power supply; working light (5) will flash.

• Putting the container (7) over the housing (3) the light will stop flashing.

• FUNCTION 1: Pressing one time the button (4) the light (5) turns white to:

o Froth fresh milk, without heating it (with the whisk).
o Mix liquids, without heating them (with the mixer).

• FUNCTION 2: Pressing two times the button (4) the light (5) turns red to:

O Heat and froth milk (with the whisk).
- Heat and froth milk or liquids (with the mixer).
o Heat milk or liquids (without accessories).

• FUNCTION 3: Pressing three times the button (4) the light (5) turns blue to:

o Heat and froth chocolate (with the whisk).
- Heat and froth chocolate or liquids (with the mixer).
o Heat chocolate or liquids (without accessories).

WARNING: the temperature for chocolate (Function 3) is higher than the one for milk. To avoid burning milk, always use function 2.

• Once finished one of the above operations, the appliance will "Beep" and turn off automatically.
• You can stop the machine anytime, by simply pressing again the operation button (4).

To avoid the milk to stuck on container, at the end of each use, immediately rinse the container with water.

CLEANING

Unplug the unit and wait until the complete cooling down of each part before starting cleaning operations.

Do not immerse the base of the vessel and into the water. In any case, avoid splashing water or other liquids from reaching those parts. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or strong detergents to clean the exterior and the base of the product, but clean with a cloth dampened with warm water. Container and accessories can be washed like every day crockery with non-abrasive sponge and dish detergent.

To avoid the milk to stuck on container, at the end of each use, immediately rinse container with water.

SAFETY SWITCH-OFF

The safety device is triggered if the appliance operates without any milk inside the container. To avoid overheating, the unit is automatically turned off after a few seconds and it cannot be activated until the complete cooling of the electric resistance.
