Frequently Asked Questions - E 120 STEBA

What to do if the appliance does not work when plugged in?
Check that the safety lock has engaged the notch on the lid and that the pulp container is properly in place. If the problem persists, unplug and replug the appliance.
Why does the motor stop during extraction?
This may be due to overload. Make sure to remove large fruit pits, fill the bowl only while the motor is running, and do not press too hard on the pusher. Let the appliance cool down for a few minutes before reusing.
How to clean the strainer basket?
Hold the basket by the edges and clean it under running water with the provided brush. Beware of sharp blades at the bottom of the basket.
Can I juice bananas or avocados?
No, these fruits are too soft and sticky. They would clog the appliance. Use the juicer for firm or juicy fruits and vegetables.
How to assemble the appliance correctly?
Place the drip tray on the motor base, insert the strainer basket pressing until it clicks, put the lid on and close the locking clamp. Finally, place the pulp container under the ejection chute and the juice container under the spout.
What to do if the pulp is too wet and the juice yield is low?
Work more slowly and clean the side walls of the strainer basket with a fine brush under running water to remove fibers blocking the holes.
How to prevent apple juice from discoloring?
Add a little lemon juice to the apples before juicing. This slows down oxidation and preserves the juice color.
What to do if juice spurts between the lid and the juice container?
This indicates overload. Work more slowly and do not press too hard on the pusher. Reduce the amount of food introduced at once.
The appliance makes an abnormal noise and vibrates, what should I do?
Unplug the appliance and check that the strainer basket is properly engaged on the drive. Reinsert it by pressing firmly until it clicks.
How long can I use the appliance continuously?
Do not use it for more than 10 minutes without stopping. After each cycle, let it cool down before reusing.
