USER MANUAL Delisia EB 8680 GRUNDIG

This section includes the safety instructions that will help protect against personal injury and material loss risks. Failure to follow these instructions invalidates the granted warranty.

  • Never attempt to dismantle the appliance. No warranty claims are accepted for damage caused by improper use.
    Before first use, carefully clean all the parts that contact food. For details, refer to "Cleaning and Care".
  • This appliance should be connected to a maximum 30mA domestic residual current protection fuse for additional protection. Please contact an electric technician for recommendations.
  • Do not immerse the appliance, the power cable, or the power plug in water or any other liquid.
  • Always unplug the power cord of the appliance after using the appliance, assembling/disassembling its parts or cleaning it, leaving the room where the appliance is located or when a failure happens. Do not unplug the appliance by pulling from its power cord.

  • Do not squeeze or bend the power cord of the appliance or do not rub it against the corners in order not to damage it. Keep away the power cord from hot surfaces and open flame.

Tips

  • Add 140ml water with measuring cup into water box.
    In order to avoid the eggshell rupture, first use the egg needle at the bottom of the measuring cup to break through the top of the egg, punch a small hole, the hole end of the egg is placed upwards, and then place the egg on the egg rack.
    Put the boiled egg into cold water quickly to make it easier to peel the shell. Serve hot and taste better.

Caution

Please use the same voltage as the rating label.
Please use a power source with protective grounding for personal safety.
- Do not put the egg boiler in the vicinity of inflammable and explosive articles or in the humid, high-temperature environment to avoid fault and danger.
- When the egg boiler is working, steam will come out from the upper cover, and the body part shall not be close to the steam mouth to avoid burns, and the steam mouth shall not be covered to avoid accidents and product failure.

  • When the egg boiler is working, the upper cover temperature is higher, please do not touch to avoid scalding. If there is a lack of water in the egg boiler and enter the dry heat protection, do not touch the water box to avoid scalding.
  • Keep the power cord plug dry at all times. Do not use wet hands to plug and pull the cord plug.
  • Do not move the egg boiler while it is working.
    There is a sharp egg needle that punctures the egg shell at the bottom of the marking, which needs to be properly guaranteed.

Note

Wait for 15 minutes for the appliance to cool down before using it again.

Cleaning and care

Caution

  • Never use gasoline, solvents, abrasive cleaning agents, metal objects or hard brushes to clean the appliance.

If there is limescale or similar stains on the heater baseplate, you can clean it with a mixture of half water and half vinegar. You can use potable water to minimize these stains.

Storage

If you do not intend to use the appliance for a long time, please store it carefully.

Store the appliance in a cool and dry place.
