SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

General safety

• Read the manual carefully before use and keep the manual for future reference.
• Only use the appliance and the accessories for their intended purposes and do not use the appliance and the accessories for other purposes than described in the manual.
• Do not use the appliance if any part or any accessory is damaged or defective. If a part or an accessory is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised repair agent.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
• The use of this appliance by children or persons with a physical, sensory, mental or motorial disability, or lack of experience and knowledge can give cause to hazards. Persons responsible for their safety should give explicit instructions or supervise the use of the appliance.
• Do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, basins or other vessels containing water.
• Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.

Electrical safety

• Before use, always check that the mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the rating plate of the appliance.
• The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket. If necessary, use an earthed extension cable of a suitable diameter (at least 3 × 1 ~mm^2 ).
• Make sure that water cannot enter the contact plugs of the mains cable and the extension cable.
• Always fully unwind the mains cable and the extension cable.
• Make sure that the mains cable does not hang over the edge of a worktop and cannot be caught accidentally or tripped over.
• Keep the mains cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges.

• Do not use the appliance if the mains cable or the mains plug is damaged or defective. If the mains cable or the mains plug is damaged or defective, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, an authorised repair agent or by a qualified person.

• Do not pull the mains cable to disconnect the mains plug from the mains.

OPERATION

Before use

1. Pour water into the tank, the water level should not exceed the "Max" mark in the tank.

2. Remove the funnel from the packaging and place the filter inside. Then place the funnel on the support and ensure that it locks into place. (The funnel handle is aligned with the lock symbol).

1. Bean box installation: Turn the "grind adjustment knob" counter-clockwise to the end (as shown below in image 1). Then take down the coffee bean cover and make sure the "bean box's elastic knob" is unlocked (As shown below in image 2), then place the bean box in position and turn the "bean box's elastic knob" clockwise to lock (as shown below in image 3).

Note: Before reassembling the bean container, check that the "Bean container seal ring" is correctly installed as shown in the diagram below.

1. Pour in the correct quantity of coffee beans and close the lid of the bean hopper.
2. Plug the machine in, press the On/Off button, all indicator lights will flash three times and the machine will beep once. At the same time, the two-cup button, one-cup button and steam warm-up button will flash slowly. (Make sure the steam warm-up button is in the "O position. If it is in " position, the four lights will flash at the same time; if the bean hopper is not properly fitted or the bean hopper knob is not turned to the correct position, two lights on the right will not work).
3. If the "One cup" and "Two cups" button indicators are lit continuously, press the "Two cups" button and let hot water flow out to clean the filter or coffee cup.

Grinding coffee powder

1. If you use the machine with one cup filter, please press the button of „filter size" once while the indicator light will be off, then the machine will make out one cup powder amount.
2. If you use the machine with a two-cup filter, please press the button of „Filter size" to let the indicator light up (default setting is two-cup filter size). Then the machine will make two cups of powder amount.
3. Set the „Grinder quantity knob" to the appropriate position.

Note: The type of coffee beans and the thickness of the coffee powder will affect the amount of powder.

1. Place the funnel in the funnel holder, push the funnel towards the "Grind beans switch" and the machine will start to work. During this time, turn the "Grind adjustment knob" to adjust the desired powder thickness. When the amount of powder reaches the desired amount, press the "Grind beans switch" again to stop grinding beans; or press the set amount of powder and work until the machine automatically stops grinding beans. (Please ensure that the motor is running when adjusting the powder thickness).

Make Espresso Coffee

1. Take the funnel out of the "funnel holder" and use the tamper to press the coffee grounds flat; at the same time, wipe the coffee grounds along the edge of the funnel with a brush or your hand.

1. Insert the funnel into the coffee spout and lock it tightly as an indicator, then place the coffee cup under the funnel.
2. At this point, quickly press " " twice and the water pump will start. When water comes out of the hot water pipe, please proceed to step 4.

Note: Without this step, it will not work for brewing coffee.

1. When the " " and " " lights always on, press the " " button once and the coffee will start to flow out 1 cup of coffee. (Or press the " button to make 2 cups of coffee).
2. At the same time, adjust the position of the coffee cup so that the coffee liquid flows into the cup along the cup wall.
3. When the coffee has been brewed, the machine will stop automatically. Wait for the coffee to drip, it's ready!

Steam milk foam function

1. First press the on/off button and then "At this time, the red indicator light of " will start flashing and the machine will start preheating until the indicator light stops flashing, then the preheating is completed.
2. Pour the iced whole milk (4 - 8^) into 1 / 3 of the Latte Art cup, immerse the steam nozzle into 1cm of the milk, then slowly turn on the steam knob until steam starts to come out.

Note: Do not exceed 2 minutes for frothing. Before frothing, turn on the steam knob to release some water from the steam tube.

1. When the temperature of the milk reaches about 75 degrees and the milk

froth starts to rise, you can turn the steam knob to " ① and press " " to stop.

1. When the milk froth is finished, turn on the steam knob to pump water and clean the inside of the steam tube to prevent the steam nozzle from clogging. Details of the steps in the following cooling function method.

Note: If you want to continue making milk froth, simply turn on the steam knob directly. Do not press the " " button.

Hot water function

Method 1: Press the on/off button and wait until the preheating is finished, then all the indicator lights will be on normally, then press " twice quickly and the pump will start working, hot water will flow out of the outlet and will stop automatically after about 8 seconds.

Method 2: Press the on/off button, turn the "steam knob" to "O and the steam tube will start to flow hot water continuously; turn the "steam knob" to "O to stop the hot water.

Memory function

After the preheating (when the and "are lit), keep the button pressed and the coffee will start to come out. When the desired amount is reached, release the button and the machine will beep once. This means that the time has been memorised. The next time you press the button, the machine will brew coffee according to the set time (not more than 60 seconds, otherwise the memory function is invalid).

Note: The memory function can only work if you press and hold the button for more than 10 seconds, but not more than 60 seconds.

Memory Brewing is the same as the above operation.

Hot water quantity setting: after preheating, keep "pressed, the pump starts working and hot water flows out of the hot water outlet. When the desired amount is reached, release the " button. This means that the time has been memorised. The next time you press the " button twice, the hot water will flow according to your setting. (The time should be within 5-30 seconds, otherwise the function is invalid)

Restore factory settings: Plug the machine in, press the "and" buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds before starting the machine (do not press the power button). When the appliance beeps 3 times, restoring the factory settings is done.

Cooling function

When you turn off the steam knob, if the "One cup" and "Two cups" indicators flash quickly, this means that the temperature inside the machine is too high after using the steam function. Please follow the method to let it cool down:

Method: Press "twice and the pump will start pumping water to cool down the machine.

Water shortage warning

If there is no water in the water tank, the three lights on the left will flash quickly at the same time. The machine will beep three times. The water pump will also stop working. At this point, you need to fill the water tank and make hot water first, and then the machine will work normally.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

During cleaning, the machine must be switched off and the plug unplugged. We strongly recommend that you do not immerse any part of the machine in water or other liquids. To clean, simply wipe with a clean damp cloth and dry before storing.

Cleaning the filters, filter holder and brew head

The stainless steel filters must be cleaned thoroughly. The filter holder should be rinsed under running water immediately after use to remove any coffee residue.

Periodically run water through the machine with the filter holder in place, but without ground coffee, to rinse out any remaining coffee grounds.

Use a damp, clean cloth to clean and wipe well inside the brew head to remove any coffee residue.

Cleaning the outer housing/cup warming plate

Do not use ordinary or aggressive cleaning agents to clean the outer casing. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the outer casing and cup warming plate.

Cleaning the drip tray rack

The small rack must be removed, cleaned and emptied frequently, especially when the drip tray is full. The rack can be washed and rinsed thoroughly in warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive detergent (do not use abrasive cleaners, pads or cloths that may scratch the surface).

Cleaning the drip tray

The drip tray must be removed when the stand is removed. Then clean it with a soft, damp cloth (do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring agents).

Note: Do not clean any parts or accessories in a dishwasher.

Cleaning the steam wand

You will need to clean the steam wand after steaming milk. Use a damp cloth to wipe the steam wand and then turn the steam wand back into the drip tray, facing back into the drip tray, you must briefly turn the steam control knob to be on. This will release any remaining milk from inside the steam wand. Make sure that the steam knob is in the OFF position. Switch off the machine, unplug the power cord and allow the machine to cool down. If the steam wand remains blocked, use the piercing tool to clean the opening.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem Possible Cause	Suggested Solution
No water / steam when making coffee	Check that there is water in the water tank/that the water tank is locked in position.	Fill the reservoir with water and turn on the „On“ switch and the “Coffee” switch
	Water is not added in the advanced mode.	Continue to press the hot water button and the pump will start to pump water into the machine until water comes out of the steam nozzle or brewing head.
	The machine is not preheated. Wait for the indicator lights to stop flashing and come on to complete the pre-warming process.
No grease	The grounds are too thick/the grounds are not pressed	Replace the ground coffee and press to flatten.
No steam The steam vent	is blocked. Thread a small piece of wire through the steam hole and clean the steam pipe with hot water after frothing.
	Do not turn on the steam knob or turn on the switch before preheating is complete.	Turn on the steam knob and wait for the preheating to finish.
More or less coffee Too much or too little ground coffee.		According to the standard amount of powder, 1 cup with 1 spoon of about 7g flattens the powder. Coffee powder must be neither too thick nor too fine. Too thick will not be fully extracted, too fine will affect the amount of coffee.
The milk does not foam well	No whole milk is used. Use whole milk.
	Pre-heating not finished. Steaming cannot be started until the steam indicator changes from flashing to steady light.
Does not make coffee, coffee button light and steam button light flash quickly	The temperature is too high after steaming	Water cooling
Does not make coffee The machine is in steam mode and the steam knob is open.		Steam knob is in the “@position
