OPERATION

Before use

  1. Pour water into the tank, the water level should not exceed the "Max" mark in the tank.

  2. Remove the funnel from the packaging and place the filter inside. Then place the funnel on the support and ensure that it locks into place. (The funnel handle is aligned with the lock symbol).

  1. Bean box installation: Turn the "grind adjustment knob" counter-clockwise to the end (as shown below in image 1). Then take down the coffee bean cover and make sure the "bean box's elastic knob" is unlocked (As shown below in image 2), then place the bean box in position and turn the "bean box's elastic knob" clockwise to lock (as shown below in image 3).

Note: Before reassembling the bean container, check that the "Bean container seal ring" is correctly installed as shown in the diagram below.

  1. Pour in the correct quantity of coffee beans and close the lid of the bean hopper.
  2. Plug the machine in, press the On/Off button, all indicator lights will flash three times and the machine will beep once. At the same time, the two-cup button, one-cup button and steam warm-up button will flash slowly. (Make sure the steam warm-up button is in the "O position. If it is in " position, the four lights will flash at the same time; if the bean hopper is not properly fitted or the bean hopper knob is not turned to the correct position, two lights on the right will not work).
  3. If the "One cup" and "Two cups" button indicators are lit continuously, press the "Two cups" button and let hot water flow out to clean the filter or coffee cup.

Grinding coffee powder

  1. If you use the machine with one cup filter, please press the button of „filter size" once while the indicator light will be off, then the machine will make out one cup powder amount.
  2. If you use the machine with a two-cup filter, please press the button of „Filter size" to let the indicator light up (default setting is two-cup filter size). Then the machine will make two cups of powder amount.
  3. Set the „Grinder quantity knob" to the appropriate position.

Note: The type of coffee beans and the thickness of the coffee powder will affect the amount of powder.

  1. Place the funnel in the funnel holder, push the funnel towards the "Grind beans switch" and the machine will start to work. During this time, turn the "Grind adjustment knob" to adjust the desired powder thickness. When the amount of powder reaches the desired amount, press the "Grind beans switch" again to stop grinding beans; or press the set amount of powder and work until the machine automatically stops grinding beans. (Please ensure that the motor is running when adjusting the powder thickness).

  1. Take the funnel out of the "funnel holder" and use the tamper to press the coffee grounds flat; at the same time, wipe the coffee grounds along the edge of the funnel with a brush or your hand.

  1. Insert the funnel into the coffee spout and lock it tightly as an indicator, then place the coffee cup under the funnel.
  2. At this point, quickly press " " twice and the water pump will start. When water comes out of the hot water pipe, please proceed to step 4.

Note: Without this step, it will not work for brewing coffee.

  1. When the " " and " " lights always on, press the " " button once and the coffee will start to flow out 1 cup of coffee. (Or press the " button to make 2 cups of coffee).
  2. At the same time, adjust the position of the coffee cup so that the coffee liquid flows into the cup along the cup wall.

Steam milk foam function

Memory function

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning the filters, filter holder and brew head

The stainless steel filters must be cleaned thoroughly. The filter holder should be rinsed under running water immediately after use to remove any coffee residue.

Periodically run water through the machine with the filter holder in place, but without ground coffee, to rinse out any remaining coffee grounds.

Use a damp, clean cloth to clean and wipe well inside the brew head to remove any coffee residue.

The small rack must be removed, cleaned and emptied frequently, especially when the drip tray is full. The rack can be washed and rinsed thoroughly in warm, soapy water. Use a non-abrasive detergent (do not use abrasive cleaners, pads or cloths that may scratch the surface).

Cleaning the steam wand

You will need to clean the steam wand after steaming milk. Use a damp cloth to wipe the steam wand and then turn the steam wand back into the drip tray, facing back into the drip tray, you must briefly turn the steam control knob to be on. This will release any remaining milk from inside the steam wand. Make sure that the steam knob is in the OFF position. Switch off the machine, unplug the power cord and allow the machine to cool down. If the steam wand remains blocked, use the piercing tool to clean the opening.
