The tem- perature setting is 30 to 250°C in increments of 5°C. Power settings: As soon as the pan is removed from the fireplace, the display indicates the absence of the pan by a flashing light. Your induction cooking appliance is able to recognize most contain- ers. Container test : Place your container on the cooking hob with the power level set on the 300W position: If the indicator 300W remains fixed, your container is compatible, if it flashes, your container is not recognized and cannot be used. The induction-compatible contain- ers are:

  • Containers in enameled steel with or without non-stick coating.
  • Containers in cast iron with or without enameled bottom. An enam- eled bottom prevents the glass top of your appliance from being scratched.
  • Stainless steel containers suita- ble for induction. Most stainless steel containers are suitable if they meet the container test. (saucepan, stockpan, frying pan, chip fryer, etc.)
  • NOTE Glass, ceramic or clay, aluminum (without special bottom), copper and some non-magnetic stainless steel containers are incompatible with in- duction cooking. The level indicator of the selected power will flash to inform you. You should choose pans with thick and flat bottoms, which guarantee more even cooking (the heat is better distributed).

Before any intervention to disassemble the filter, it is ESSENTIAL to disconnect the power supply from the product. Remove the filter and then clean the filter under the appliance with soapy water (or in the dish- washer) approximately every week. Put it back when it is dry before use your device again. This filter protects your device from dust and grease. Pans Preserve and maintain your appliance31 Avoid hitting it with pans. The glass top is very tough but it is not unbreakable. Avoid rubbing containers on the top of the appliance. They can, in the long run, degrade the printing on the vitroceramic glass. Avoid using containers with rough or dented bottoms. They can retain and transport mate- rials which may cause stains or scratches on the vitroceramic glass. Centre your container on the cook- ing area. Do not leave an empty container on the cooking hob. Do not heat a closed tin can. It may explode. Do not preheat food on the maxi- mum set power level when you use a container with a non-stick inside coating (Teflon) without liquid or with very little fat. The maximum power level is re- served for boiling and frying. All these faults which do not lead to non-functioning or inability to be used, do not fall within the framework of the warranty.
