ENGLISH SAFETY WARNINGS Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. General safety instructions
1. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8
years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must never play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must never be carried out by children without supervision.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do
not play with the appliance.
3. Keep the appliance and the cable cord out of the reach
of children less than 8 years old.
4. WARNING: In order to ensure your children‘s safety,
please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene etc.) Out of their reach.

6. Never pull on the cord when unplugging.

Keep children away during use and after –fat stays hot for a long time. Never let the cord touch hot surfaces or hang down over the worktop edge – a child could grab it and pull the fryer down. Never touch the bowl, SUS shell, pour away oil or move your fryer while the oil’s hot. After cleaning, ensure all parts are completely dry before use. Never leave your fryer on unattended.FDR 13
Do not use if there is any damage to the fryer, cord or plug. Get it checked or repaired: see ‘service’. Watch out for steam during cooking and when you open the lid. Never put your fryer near or on cooker hot plates. This fryer is for domestic use only. The appliances not intended to be immersed in water for cleaning. Do not use the device outdoors. Always unplug the fryer after use. In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent resetting of the thermal cut-out, this appliance must not be supplied through an external switching device, such as a timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on and off by the utility. This kind of appliance should be placed on a stable surface with the handles (if has) put to avoid a spill of hot liquids. CAUTION: HOT SURFACE The surface can remain hot during or after use.FDR 13
Make sure the power supply matches the one listed on the bottom of the fryer. Important The interior of the power cord contains wires of the following colors: Green and yellow = Ground, Blue = Neutral, Brown = Active. This appliance complies with European Directive 89/336/EEC. BEFORE USING THE FRYER FOR THE FIRST TIME
4. Remove all packaging.
5. Disassembly: See the section “disassembling, assembling and using the fryer”.
6. Wash the parts: see the “cleaning” section.
8. Add oil. The oil level should be between the “MAX” and “MIN” marks.
9. Insert the basket and close the lid.
10. Use the selector to select the desired temperature.
11. The HEAT indicator light will come on when the oil has reached the correct temperature for frying. Place
the food in the basket and lower it into the oil. Do not add more food than the maximum recommended amount . The indicator light will go on and off while the fryer maintains the temperature.
12. When the food is ready, lift the lid and raise the basket. To allow the food to drain off the oil, hook the
basket onto the side of the container.
13. To reuse the oil, allow it to cool and then strain it using fine cheesecloth or absorbent paper.
14. Always unplug the fryer after use.
Tricks Pre-cooked foods require a higher temperature than raw foods. Fry food thoroughly. The outside may look cooked before the inside is fried. Keep your fryer with oil (cold and strained) inside it, ready to use. The lid prevents dust from falling inside the fryer. Before frying breaded products, remove excess breadcrumbs. To fry potatoes, cut them into equal pieces so that they fry evenly. Wash and dry them before frying. To extend the life of your fryer, strain the oil after each use and change it after 8-10 uses.FDR 13

It is recommended to filter the oil periodically to remove these impurities. Always store the fryer with the lid closed to prevent dust or other elements from damaging the oil or fat. Discarded oil should not be disposed of down the toilet or sink. Replace the oil when it has a dark color, bad smell or bad taste in food.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Never start cleaning the fryer until the oil has completely cooled. Always unplug the fryer before cleaning. Empty the oil from the container using the pouring slot on the edge of the container. Fryer body/fixed container For the outside of the body, use a damp cloth and then dry it completely. Do not immerse the fryer in water. Inner container: After each use, fill with warm soapy water and leave for 20 minutes. Follow with a non-abrasive cleaner. Basket After each use, remove and soak in hot, soapy water for 20 minutes. Then use a stiff brush. The lid and basket are also dishwasher safe.
REPAIRS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
If the power cable is damaged, it must be repaired by an authorized technical service for safety reasons. If you notice any type of problem with the operation of the fryer, consult the troubleshooting guide before taking it to the technician. Wrong oil/different types of oil mixed. Use a high quality oil suitable for frying. Unpleasant smell / Smoke coming out of the oil. The oil is old and spoiled. Add clean oil. The oil is not suitable for frying. Use a high quality oil suitable for frying. The food is not fried well. Incorrect temperature. Select the correct temperature. Overloaded basket.
