What cookware to use with the induction cooktop?

Use pots and pans with ferrous flat bottom diameter between 12.1 and 26 cm. Suitable: ferrous stainless steel, iron, cast iron. Avoid aluminum, glass, earthenware, bronze, copper, and aluminum pans with metal disc.

Why does the appliance automatically turn off after 10 minutes?

This is normal if no compatible cookware is detected on the cooktop. The appliance automatically shuts off for safety reasons. Place a compatible pan on the induction element to prevent shutdown.

What does the blinking HEATING indicator mean?

If the indicator blinks 2 times then pauses, the appliance is in overheat protection mode. Remove the pan and let the surface cool. If it blinks 9 times, the pan is not suitable for induction. If it blinks 6 times, there is a coil problem.

How to clean the induction cooktop?

Turn off the appliance, unplug it, and let it cool. Clean the surface with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners, scouring pads, or water spray cleaners.

Can I use aluminum pans?

No. Aluminum pans are not compatible with induction. Moreover, aluminum pans with a metal disc on the bottom can separate under heat and damage the appliance, voiding the warranty.

What is the required power supply voltage?

Connect the appliance to a grounded outlet matching the voltage on the rating label. The appliance requires a dedicated circuit. Do not use an extension cord.

Can the appliance be built in or enclosed?

No. The appliance is not designed to be enclosed or built in. Adequate air circulation is required: leave at least 10 cm clearance at the rear and 1.9 cm under the appliance.

What to do if the appliance does not heat?

Check that the pan is suitable for induction and placed in the center of the induction element. Ensure the appliance is on and the HEATING indicator is lit. Refer to the troubleshooting section of the manual.

How to switch between heat mode and temperature mode?

Press the HEAT/TEMP button to toggle between modes. In heat mode, the heat indicator is on; in temperature mode, the temperature indicator is on. Use the up/down arrows to adjust.

Is there a risk for pacemaker wearers?

As a precaution, individuals with a pacemaker should stay at least 30 cm (12 inches) away from the operating appliance. Studies show that induction does not interfere with pacemakers.
