USER MANUAL Boot X2 Joovy

  • NEVER place a child or baby inside this product for any reason whatsoever.
  • DO NOT overload this product. The maximum weight that can be carried in each mesh basket is 50 lbs. (22.7 kg). The maximum weight that can be carried in the base basket is 22 lbs. (10 kg). The total maximum weight that can be carried in this product is 122 lbs. (55.5 kg).
  • This product is not a toy. DO NOT allow children to play with it. Please do not return this product to the store. If you experience any of diculty with the assembly or use of this product, or if you have a question regarding these instructions, please contact Team 432 (page 12).   • Magnetic clips7 Assembly IWARNING: Adult assembly is required for this product. No tools required. Unfolding the Shopping Cart
  • Orient the shopping cart with the handle facing upward. Release the safety latch located on the left side of the shopping cart. (1)
  • Pull upwards on the handle. (2) Keep pulling until the shoping cart is fully erected and the locking mechanism has fully engaged.
  • Gently push downward on the handle to ensure that the shopping cart is completely opened and locked before ANY use of the product. IWARNING: Keep children away from shopping cart while unfolding. ALWAYS ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged when the shopping cart is in the opened position. This action will prevent collapse of the shopping cart. Possible pinching hazard – Be careful when unfolding the shopping cart. Installing/Removing the Front Wheels
  • Slide one front wheel into the front wheel housing until it clicks into place. (3) Repeat for the other two wheels. Pull on the wheels to ensure they are installed properly.
  • To remove the wheel, press the metal release button on the back of the front wheel housing and pull the wheel away from the shopping cart. (4)

  • Install a rear wheel by sliding the axle into the hole in the wheel hub until it clicks into place. (5) Repeat for the other wheel. Pull on the wheels to ensure they are installed properly.
  • To remove the wheel, push the release button on the rear wheel hub and pull the wheel from the shopping cart. (6) Rear Wheel Brakes• Always engage the rear wheel brakes when not pushing the shopping cart.• To engage, push down on the brake lever. (7)• Gently push the shopping cart back and forth to ensure the brakes are fully engaged.• To release, push down on the back of the brake lever. (8) IWARNING: Always make sure the wheel brakes are engaged when the shopping cart is not being pushed so that the shopping cart will not roll away. Never leave shopping cart unattended, especially on a hill or incline, as the shopping cart may tip over or slide. Baskets• The mesh baskets can be removed to be used as a carry bag.

  • Keep children away from the shopping cart while folding.• All baskets must be empty before folding the product.• The rear wheel brakes MUST be engaged before folding the shopping cart.• Push the folding release lock on the handle to the left and squeeze the button on the inside of the handle in. (11)
  • Slowly push the handle forward until the product is completely folded (12) and the safety latch has automatically engaged. (13) DO NOT force the shopping cart closed.• Pull up on the handle to ensure the safety latch is secure. CAUTION: While folding the shopping cart, be careful to keep your ngers from being pinched by moving parts. IWARNING: Rear wheel brakes MUST be engaged before folding the shopping cart. DO NOT force the shopping cart closed. ALWAYS keep children away from the shopping cart when folding. Possible pinching hazard – Be careful when folding the shopping cart.

Care & Maintenance Maintenance All of the ttings, snaps, locks, rivets, and other hardware and plastic parts on the shopping cart should be inspected periodically to ensure that they are secured properly and not damaged or malfunctioning. All straps and fabric items and their stitching should also be inspected periodically to ensure that they are secured properly and not loose, torn or otherwise damaged. All moving parts, such as wheels, brakes, and hinges should also be checked periodically to ensure they are operating properly. Any missing, broken, or worn components should be replaced immediately, and the shopping cart should not be used until they are replaced. Only original manufacturer’s components should be used. Cleaning The frame and wheels should always be kept clean and free of dirt and foreign matter, especially after operating the shopping cart in rain, snow, or other harsh environments. Store shopping cart indoors to prolong its appearance. DO NOT store outdoors. Ensure that the shopping cart is dry before storing for prolonged periods. Always store the shopping cart in a dry environment. Store the shopping cart in a safe place when not in use (i.e. away from children). DO NOT place heavy objects on top of the shopping cart.
