USER MANUAL CD837AA Vonroc

Read the enclosed safety warnings, the additional safety warnings, and the instructions. Failure to follow the safety warnings and the instructions may result in electric shock, fi re, and/or serious injury. Save the safety warnings and the instructions for future reference. GENERAL POWER TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS

WARNING! Read all safety warnings and all instructions. Failure to follow the warnings and instructions may result in electric shock, fi re and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference. The term “power tool” in the warnings refers to your mainst-operated (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.

1) Battery tool use and care

a) Recharge only with the charger specifi ed by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fi re when used with another battery pack. b) Use power tools only with specifi cally designated battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may create a risk of injury and fi re.

When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fi re.

Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact. If contact accidentally occurs, fl ush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns. e) Do not use a battery pack or tool that is damaged or modifi ed. Damaged or modifi ed batteries may exhibit unpredictable behaviour resulting in fi re, explosion or risk of injury.

Do not expose a battery pack or tool to fi re or excessive temperature. Exposure to fi re or temperature above 130 °C may cause explosion. NOTE The temperature „130 °C“ can be replaced by the temperature „265 °F“.

Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or tool outside the temperature range specifi ed in the instructions. Charging improperly or at temperatures outside the specifi ed range may damage the battery and increase the risk of fi re.

a) Have your power tool serviced by a qualifi ed repair person using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the power tool is maintained.

Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.

SAFETY WARNINGS FOR BATTERY

a) Only use the battery with products from the manufacturer. This is the only way in which you can protect the battery against dangerous overload. b) Recharge only with the charger specifi ed by the manufacturer. c) The battery is supplied partially charged. To ensure full battery capacity, fully charge the battery in the charger before using your power tool for the fi rst time. d) Keep battery packs out of the reach of children. e) Do not open the battery. There is a risk of short- circuiting. f) In case of damage and improper use of the battery, vapours may be emitted. The battery can set alight or explode. Ensure the area is well ventilated and seek medical attention should you experience any adverse effects. The vapours may irritate the respiratory system. g) If used incorrectly or if the battery is damaged, fl ammable liquid may be ejected from the battery. Contact with this liquid should be avoided. If contact accidentally occurs, rinse off with water. If the liquid comes into contact with your eyes, seek additional medical attention. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.

If the battery is damaged, liquid can be ejected and cover nearby surfaces. Check affected parts. Clean these parts or change them if necessary.

i) Do not short-circuit the battery pack. When

the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects, that can make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fi re. j) The battery can be damaged by pointed objects such as nails or screwdrivers or by force applied externally. An internal short circuit may occur, causing the battery to burn, smoke, explode or overheat. k) Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers. l) Protect the battery against heat, e.g., against continuous intense sunlight, fi re, dirt, water, and moisture. There is a risk of explosion and short-circuiting. m) Only operate and store the battery at an ambient temperature between 0 °C and +40°C. Do not leave the battery in your car in the summer, for example. At temperatures of <0°C, some devices may experience a loss of power. n) Only charge the battery at an ambient temperature which is between 0 °C and +35°C. Only charge the rechargeable battery with a USB cable at an ambient temperature which is between +10 °C and +35 °C. Charging outside of this temperature range can increase the risk of damage to the battery and pose a fi re hazard.

2. PRODUCT INFORMATION

Intended use This 20V battery is intended for use with cordless power tools operating on the VPOWER20V platform. It is designed to provide electrical power to compatible handheld devices such as drills, saws, and other power tools used in construction, remodeling, woodworking, metalworking, and do-it-yourself projects. The battery is suitable for applications requiring portable power without the need for direct electrical connections, allowing for fl exibility and mobility in various working environments. It is not intended for use with devices outside of the specifi ed 20V range or for other than the prescribed applications. Misuse, such as attempting to power incompatible devices or modifying the battery for other uses, may result in damage to the device or personal injury. Users should ensure the battery is correctly inserted into compatible tools and adhere to all safety instructions provided with their power tools and the battery itself. This battery should not be exposed to water or extreme temperatures to avoid damage and ensure longevity. Only use chargers from the VPOWER20V battery platform.   • Non-original spare parts have been used. This constitutes the sole warranty made by company either expressed or implied.
