- Garments that have been stained with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, paran, stain removers, turpentine, waxes or wax removers should be washed with hot water and an extra amount of detergent before drying in the dryer. - Cleaning cloths and mats containing residues of ammable cleaning agents, acetone, gases, petrol, gasoline, stain removers, turpentine, waxes, wax removers, dry cleaning solvents or chemicals. - Garments with traces of hairspray, nail polish remover and similar substances. - Garments that have been used for cleaning with industrial chemicals (as in chemical cleaning). - Garments containing parts or accessories with any type of foam, sponge, rubber or rubber-like material, such as latex foam sponges, shower caps, waterproof fabrics, custom- made clothing and foam pillows. - Garments with padding or damaged parts (pillows or jackets). Foam released from these garments could cause a re during the drying process. - Using the dryer in environments containing our or coal dust may cause an explosion. - Wet laundry may be dried in the tumble dryer only after dehydration, i.e. no water should drip onto the electrical parts and damage the tumble dryer causing a potential hazard. - When the tumble dryer is in operation, do not use ammable sprays nearby. If a gas leak occurs, do not connect or disconnect the plug or switch on the appliance. - Do not store cigarettes, lighters, dry ice or other ammable and/or explosive materials inside the tumble dryer. - ATTENTION: underwear with metal reinforcements22

Correct use - ATTENTION: never stop the dryer before the end of the drying cycle unless all items are quickly removed and spread out to dissipate the heat. - ATTENTION: make sure that no animals enter the dryer. Check the interior of the dryer before use. - ATTENTION: overheating of the laundry inside the dryer may occur if you cancel the programme or in case of an electrical failure during the operation of the dryer. This concentration of heat can cause combustion, so be sure to activate the ventilation programme to cool it down or quickly remove the laundry from the dryer to hang it out to dissipate the heat. - Use the dryer only for domestic use and for drying fabrics labelled as suitable for drying. - Before installation, check that the dryer has not been visibly damaged during transportation. Do not operate the dryer if it is damaged. If you detect any problem, contact the ocial Cecotec Technical Support Service. - During transport, the maximum angle of inclination of the dryer must not exceed 45º. In case it tips over, place it in an upright position for 2 hours before putting it into operation. - The dryer must be installed in a dry and ventilated place. Avoid installing it in places with high humidity, where it can get wet or be aected by steam build-up, such as the bathroom or an uncovered balcony. Do not install it where it will be exposed to direct sunlight. - Do not install the dryer next to other heat-generating appliances such as cookers, gas appliances, etc. to avoid accidents. - It is recommended to install the tumble dryer next to or near the washing machine to facilitate drying of the laundry after washing. - Avoid installing the dryer in a place where dust tends to accumulate, as excess dirt may block the ventilation grilles of the appliance. - Remove all packaging from the dryer and then place it on a at, stable surface. Do not place it on carpets, rugs, supports, etc. - During installation, adjust the feet of the tumble dryer until it is rmly placed on the oor. Adjusting the feet Adjust the angle of the base and feet to ensure that the tumble dryer is always level and stable. Mains connection Before connecting the appliance, check the following: - The mains voltage complies with the required parameters. - The plug of the tumble dryer is compatible with the socket. - The socket can withstand the maximum power of the dryer and is safely earthed. Drain hose connection Fig. 2 If the installation location of the dryer allows the accumulated waste water to be discharged directly through the drain, the tank can be emptied by connecting the drain hose to the water outlet. In this way, it will not be necessary to empty the condensation water tank manually or to remove the outlet pipe from the tank.

WARNING - Make sure that the hose seal is securely tted to prevent it from disconnecting. - Once the connection has been made, the distance between the water outlet and the oor must not exceed 1 metre. If the hose is too long, you can cut it. - When disconnecting the hose from the tumble dryer, be sure to do so by pulling on the connector. If it is necessary to restore the original drainage system, reinsert the connector back into place.

4. LAUNDRY PREPARATION

Check - Empty the condensation water tank and reinstall it in its place. - Clean the lint lter and reinstall it in place. - Check if the laundry requires a special drying programme. Before drying - Remove all objects such as coins, sand, keys, etc. from pockets. - Knot belts, ties, laces, etc. on garments. Fasten the buttons. - Do not overll the dryer. Unfold and separate rolled garments before putting them in the tumble dryer. - To prevent the buttons on the clothes from rattling when they hit the drum, turn the clothes inside out or place them inside out in the tumble dryer. - In the case of delicate garments, it is recommended to use a laundry bag or mesh to protect the fabric during drying. Practical tips on drying clothes - Spin the laundry well in the washing machine before putting it in the tumble dryer. A higher drying speed shortens the drying cycle time and reduces energy consumption. - To speed up the drying process, shake the laundry before putting it in the dryer. - Avoid overloading the dryer. - Clean the drum and lint lter periodically with a slightly damp cloth. - Clean the heat exchanger lter grille regularly. - The lint lter must be completely dry before putting it back into the dryer. - For uniform drying, sort the laundry according to the type of fabric and select a suitable drying programme. Users can select the drying programmes that best suit their needs. - The actual drying time of the programme may vary depending on the room temperature and humidity, the type of fabric, the weight of the load and the degree of residual moisture of the laundry after the spinning phase. - Before putting the laundry in the dryer, check if the laundry is suitable for tumble drying as indicated on the laundry label. - If you need to dry small loads of laundry, it is recommended to select a timed programme which allows you to adjust the drying time. - If the laundry has not been dried completely, you can select a timed programme to continue drying the laundry. Please note that when selecting a timed programme, the moisture sensors will not detect the remaining humidity of the load automatically. - When drying large fabrics, such as sheets and curtains, it is possible that they may pile up during the drying process. Pause the programme, shake the laundry and put it back into the dryer to nish drying. Some thicker and heavier garments (jeans, large towels, etc.) are more dicult to dry due to the characteristics of the fabric. - Before putting down-lled jackets or coats in the tumble dryer, be sure to turn them inside out.

5.2 Drying functions

Drying level - This function is used to adjust the drying level of the laundry. There are three drying levels, press the drying level icon to switch between the levels: o H1: this function leaves the laundry slightly damp after drying to prevent over- drying and creasing. o H2: this function dries the laundry so that you can wear it immediately after drying. o H3: this function dries the laundry so that it can be stored in the wardrobe after drying. - The drying level can only be set or changed before starting the drying programme.BOLERO DRESSCODE DRY 8300

ENGLISH Drying time - This function allows you to set the duration of the following drying programmes: Quick dry, Steam, Wool, Down, Refresh, Sports and Bedding. - Each press corresponds to a 10-minute increment. KidLock - This function allows you to lock the control panel to prevent children from interrupting the drying cycle or tampering with the appliance accidentally.To activate the child lock, follow the steps below:

1. Press the power icon to switch on the appliance.

2. Select a drying programme.

3. Press the start/pause icon to start the drying cycle.

4. To activate the KidLock, press and hold the Delay Start and Anti-crease function icons at

the same time for 3 seconds.

Warning: when the KidLock function is activated, all icons on the panel are disabled (except the

power icon). To be able to use the dryer, rst deactivate the KidLock. Silence function This icon allows you to switch on or o the beeping emitted by the tumble dryer at the end of the drying programme. Easy ironing function (anti-crease) If you do not remove the laundry at the end of the drying programme, the Easy ironing function will be activated automatically to prevent the laundry from creasing. This function rotates the drum at regular intervals for 120 minutes. Delay Start function This function allows you to delay the start time of the programme. Once the programme has been selected, press the Delay Start icon to set the time you want the drying cycle to start. The start time will be shown on the display. When this time ends, the selected programme will start automatically and then the remaining drying time will be shown on the display. Dryer operation

6. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

3. Open the lter housing.

4. Wipe o the lint with a damp cloth.

Warning: after cleaning, return the lter to its original position.

2. Cleaning the dryer surface

Wipe the surface of the dryer with a soft, clean cloth. Do not spray water directly on the dryer, do not use solvents, detergents, paran, volatile oils, alcohol, etc. to clean it. Particularly dirty parts can be cleaned with a soft cloth dampened with soapy water.BOLERO DRESSCODE DRY 8300

3. Cleaning the drum

When operating over a long period of time, the inside of the drum may be covered with scale deposits that are not visible at rst glance. This limescale formation is due to the hardness of the water and detergent residues. For this reason, the inside wall of the drum should be cleaned regularly with a damp cloth.

4. Emptying the condensation water tank

Fig. 6. While the dryer is in operation, steam condenses, and water accumulates in the tank. To empty the condensation water tank, follow the procedure below:

1. Remove the condensation water tank. Once the tank has been removed, be sure to keep it

in a horizontal position to prevent water spillage.

2. Empty the condensed water and put the tank back in place.

Warning: condensed water should not be drunk or used for food preparation. After each drying

cycle, it is recommended to empty the condensation water tank.

5. Cleaning the heat exchanger lter

Fig. 7 For best drying results, clean the heat exchanger lter regularly. Be sure to unplug the dryer before cleaning. To clean the heat exchanger lter, follow the procedure below:

1. Open the cover to gain access to the lter of the heat exchanger.

2. Turn the latches to unlock and remove the heat exchanger.

3. Remove the heat exchanger lter.

4. Clean lint accumulated in the lter.

5. Put the lter back in place.

Warning: do not use sharp objects to clean the surface of the heat exchanger lter, as this may
