The term "device" or "product” in the warnings and instructions refers to the HAND MIXER. 2.1. Electrical safety a) The device plug must fit into the socket. Do not modify the plug in any way. Original plugs and matching sockets reduce the risk of electric shock. b) Avoid touching earthed items such as tubes, radiators, heaters and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed and touches the device exposed to direct rain, wet floor and humidenvironment. If water penetrates into the device, there is an increased risk of damage to the device and electric shock. c) Do not touch the device with wet or damp hands. d) Do not use the cable in a wrong way. Never use it to carry the device or to pull the plug out of the socket. Keep the cable away from heat sources, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. A short moment of distraction during operation may lead to serious personal injury. d) To prevent accidental start-up, make sure the switch is in the OFF position before connecting the device to the power source. e) Do not overestimate your capabilities. Maintain body balance at all times during operation. This allows for better control of the device in unexpected situations. f) The device is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device. 2.4. Safe use of the device a) Do not overload the device. Use tools that are suitable for the given application. A correctly selected device ensures better and safer performance of work. b) Do not use the device if the ON/OFF switch does not function properly (does not switch on and off). Devices that cannot be controlled by the switch are dangerous, must not be operated and must be repaired. c) Pull the plug out of the socket before making adjustments, changing accessories or storing the device. This preventive measure reduces the risk of accidental activation. d) Keep unused devices out of the reach of children and anyone not familiar with the device or these instructions. Devices are dangerous in the hands of inexperienced users. e) Keep the device in good working order. Before each use, check for general damage or damage to moving parts (cracks in parts and components or any other condition that may affect the safe operation of the device). The ambient temperature should not exceed 40°C and the relative humidity should not exceed 85%. Keep the device away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the device on a level, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface and out of the reach of children and persons with reduced mental, sensory and intellectual abilities. Position the device in such a way that the power supply plug can be reached at any time. Make sure that the device's power supply corresponds to the data on the rating plate! Prior to first use disassemble all elements and wash them.

ASSEMBLY OF THE DEVICE

1. Disconnect the mains plug before installing/removing the appliance.

2. Place the blender/whisk attachment onto the body of the appliance (blender)

and twist counter-clockwise until it stops.

3. To remove the blender/whisk attachment, turn it clockwise.USING THE APPLIANCE WITH THE BLENDER ATTACHMENT

To hold the mixer firmly and steadily, grasp it with one hand by the handle and the other by the lower part of its body. It is recommended to tilt the mixer at a slight angle to prevent the blender attachment from being sucked into the bottom of the container. Before starting the mixer, make sure that the blender attachment is sufficiently submerged to avoid splashing food. It is recommended to immerse 2/3 of the blender attachment in the vessel. USING THE APPLIANCE WITH THE WHISK ATTACHMENT When whisking, it is recommended to move the mixer so that the whisk moves around in the bowl. This will make it possible to produce a homogeneous mixture from the mixed ingredients. Do not touch the sides of the bowl with the whisk. It is recommended to dip at least 1/5 of the whisk into the bowl. 3.3. Working with the device

1. Check that the ON/OFF button (C) is released, i.e. that it is in the OFF

2. Connect the device to the power supply.

3. Fit the whisk or blender attachment into the body of the appliance.

5. Press the ON/OFF button (C), and hold it down while the mixer is running.

The mixer will run until the ON/OFF button is released. CAUTION! Before starting, make sure that the speed control knob is set to the lowest speed (turned to the left as far as possible).

6. To change the mixer speed, turn the speed control knob (B) in the desired

direction. Turning the knob clockwise (+) will increase the speed and counter-clockwise (-) will decrease it. CAUTION! Use the mixer with the whisk attached at the lowest speed!

7. Continuous operation mode (not applicable to models: RCSM-280AV,

RCSM-280AV-1): for the device to operate without holding down the button, the lock button (D) must be pressed after starting (pressing the ON/OFF button). The ON/OFF button (C) can then be released. The device will operate continuously. To stop the mixer (and exit continuous operation mode) press and release the ON/OFF button - this will switch off the lock and the mixer.

8. When finished, release the ON/OFF button. Wait for the rotating parts to

stop and then disconnect the mixer from the power supply.3.4. Cleaning and maintenance a) Before cleaning, adjustment or replacement of accessories, and when the device is not in use, pull the power supply plug and let the device cool down completely.

  • Wait until the spinning elements stop. b) Use only non-corrosive agents for cleaning the surface. c) Only mild cleaning agents designed for cleaning surfaces which come into contact with food may be used to clean the device. d) After each cleaning, all components should be well dried before the device s used again. e) Store the device in a dry and cool place protected from moisture and direct sunlight. f) Do not spray the device with a stream of water and do not immerse it in water. g) Ensure that no water enters through the ventilation openings in the housing. h) Clean the ventilation openings with a brush and compressed air.

i) Regularly inspect the device for technical failure and damage.

j) Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the body of the device. k) After using the appliance for hot food, cool it in cold water before removing the whisk or blender attachment to prevent scalding. l) Cleaning the blending attachment: place the blending attachment in a container of water and switch on the appliance for a few seconds. Thoroughly dry the blender/whisk attachment after each use.
