Before using the appliance, make sure that it is not damaged. If this is the case, do not use it. The device must not be exposed to moisture or direct sunlight. The product is not suitable for medical purposes or for public informaon and is intended for private use only. Aenon! Keep the baeries and the appliance out of the reach of children. Baeries contain acids that are harmful to health. Weak baeries should be replaced as soon as possible to prevent leakage! Never use new and old baeries or baeries of dierent types at the same me. Never throw baeries into a re and do not short-circuit them. Never charge the baeries and do not take them apart. There is a risk of explosion!15English

Remove the product from the packaging and remove all packaging materi- al. Open the baery compartment on the back of the device and insert 3x 1.5V AAA baeries. To set the mer, turn the „+/-“ rotary buon on the outside of the applian- ce unl the desired me is shown on the display.

8. Alarm and alarm sengs

When the mer has counted down to 0 minutes and 0 seconds, the appli- ance will emit an alarm tone and the display will start to ash. The alarm sounds for approx. 60 seconds. You can cancel the alarm tone manually using the „Start/Stop“ buon. You can set the volume of the alarm using the volume switch.19English

9. Call up last countdown me

Aer the last countdown has counted down to 00 minutes and 00 seconds, simply press the „Start/Stop“ buon once to call up the last countdown me. Then press the „Start/Stop“ buon again to start a new countdown. In operang mode, the device automacally switches to idle mode if it is not operated for 5 seconds. The brightness is automacally reduced.

11. Using the device as a stopwatch

Press and hold the “Start/Stop” buon to set the display to 0. When the display shows 00 minutes and 00 seconds, press the “Start/Stop” buon briey to start the stopwatch funcon. The appliance will now count up from 00:00 to a maximum of 99 minutes and 55 seconds.20 English

12. Safety informaon and disclaimer

Never aempt to open the appliance to carry out repairs or modicaons. Avoid contact with the mains voltage. Do not short-circuit the product. The device is not waterproof, please only use it in dry condions. Protect it from high humidity, water and snow. Keep the device away from high temperatures. Do not expose the device to sudden temperature changes or strong vibraons, as this could damage the electronic parts. Check the device for damage before use. The appliance should not be used if it has been knocked or damaged in any other way. Please observe the naonal regulaons and restricons. Do not use the device for purposes other than those described in the in- strucons. This product is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children or mentally impaired persons. Any repair or modicaon to the appliance that is not carried out by the original supplier will invalidate the warranty or guarantee. The appliance may only be used by persons who have read and understood these instrucons. The device specicaons may change without prior noce.

13. Disposal instrucons

According to the European WEEE Direcve, electrical and electronic devices may not be disposed of with household waste. Their components must be21English recycled or disposed of separately, as toxic and hazardous components can cause lasng damage to the environment if disposed of incorrectly. As a consumer, you are obliged under the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act (ElektroG) to return electrical and electronic equipment free of charge at the end of its life to the manufacturer, the point of sale or to public col- lecon centres set up for this purpose. Details are regulated by the respec- ve state law. The symbol on the product, the operang instrucons and/ or the packaging refers to these regulaons. By separang, recycling and disposing of old appliances in this way, you are making an important contribuon to protecng our environment.

14. Notes on baery disposal

In connecon with the sale of baeries or the delivery of devices containing baeries, the supplier is obliged to inform the customer of the following: The customer is legally obliged to return used baeries as the end user. The customer can return used baeries that the supplier carries or has car- ried as new baeries free of charge to the supplier‘s dispatch warehouse (dispatch address).
