INTRODUCTION Thank you for choosing the LANAFORM® «Microdermabrasion». The «Microdermabrasion» uses a microdermabrasion technique supported by three abrasive sapphire-based heads and continuous suction. This sapphire coating removes dead skin to alleviate the effects of skin ageing. According to a clinical study, the Lanaform® «Microdermabrasion» is more effective than a scrub applied at home and is even comparable to a scrub applied in a beauty salon. Its action improves the skin’s general appearance by making it smoother, younger and softer. What’s more, thanks to its exfoliating action, the «Microdermabrasion» reduces skin imperfections by fading wrinkles and fine lines, dark spots, blackheads and signs of fatigue. The skin appears healthier and more elastic and the eye area is brighter after the very first application. This product is suitable for both oily and sensitive skin types. - 100% of women who used the product found the «Microdermabrasion» more effective than a scrub applied at home - 100% of them felt that their skin was smoother and 97% of them felt that their skin was softer and healthier. - 96% of them found that this device reduced imperfections and blackheads. • This device is not intended for use by people, including children, with limited physical, sensory or mental abilities, or by people lacking experience or knowledge, unless they are supervised or have been instructed beforehand on how to use the equipment by someone responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to make sure they do not play with the device.

• Only use this device by following the instructions for use described in this manual.

• Check that your mains voltage is the same as that of your device.

• Always place the device on a hard, flat and level surface. Keep it away from heat sources such as stoves, radiators, etc.

• Do not leave the device in direct sunlight.

• Do not connect or disconnect the plug or electrical transformer of the device with wet hands.

• If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a similar cable available from the supplier or the latter’s after-sales department.

• Unplug the device before cleaning it.

• Do not wash the entire unit with water and do not immerse it in water. Consult the cleaning instructions in this manual.

• Unplug a device that has fallen into water immediately before retrieving it.

• An electrical device should never remain connected unsupervised. Unplug it when you are not using it.

• Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.

• Never use this device in a room where aerosol products (sprays) are used or in a room where oxygen is administered.

• Do not use this device under a cover or under a cushion. Excessive heat can cause fire, electrocution or injury.

• Never use this device in a room in which the temperature is greater than 40°C.

• If the device is placed in a room where the temperature is low, you are advised to wait for several minutes before using the device in a warmer environment. Drops of water could appear as a result of condensation and this could affect the operation of your device.EN

• Do not put items of clothing or towels under or on top of the device. • This device is designed for domestic use only. • If you are concerned about your health or are taking medical treatment, consult a doctor before using this device.• If you experience any pain when using this device, stop using it immediately and consult your doctor.• Do not use this appliance for a total period of more than 30 minutes. However, we recommend that you use the «Microdermabrasion» up to twice a week, depending on your skin type (use once a week for sensitive and normal skin, twice a week for very oily skin), spending a total of 15 minutes on your face and neck and 5 minutes on your cleavage area.• Never use this device on a body part that is swollen or inflamed or if you have a skin rash.
• Do not use this device without medical advice in the following cases: if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if your skin has any tattoos or beauty spots, if you have skin cancer, if you have any unusual skin colouring, if you are taking any medicine or if you have very sensitive skin. If you are unsure, consult your doctor before using the device. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Note: Before using the device, make sure your face is clean and dry and all traces of makeup and cosmetic creams have been removed. Instructions1.Insert the plug into the hole located on the device and connect to an electric socket (point 9).2.Then open the box, referring to the diagram above (point 8). 3. Hold the main handle of the device (point 5 a)) and select the appropriate sapphire head for the area of the body you intend to treat (point 7 (a-b-c)).- The narrow head is designed for more sensitive areas of the face. - The other two heads consist of a more abrasive head for oily skin and a less abrasive head for sensitive skin.Simply insert the selected head on the handle. 4. Then press the Start button (point 1) to switch the device on and set the required suction speed using the two buttons provided for this purpose (points 2 and 3). If you are using the device for the first time, we recommend that you select the lowest intensity level and increase this gradually depending on your skin type.EN

5.Follow the instructions below depending on the area to be treated. HGFEDCBA a) Forehead and brow furrow: Start working gently in the area between your eyebrows and slowly move up towards the top of your forehead. Starting from this centre line, guide the sapphire head towards the right, repeating the movement until the entire area has been treated. Go back to the centre line and work on the left side of your forehead. b) Eyes, crow’s feet: At a distance of around 2cm from your eyes, guide the sapphire head towards the outside of your face. Hold your skin taut, using your other hand if necessary. c) Cheeks: Following the same procedure as for your eyes, move the head towards the outside of your face, working gently down your cheeks. Keep holding your skin taut. d) Nose: Start from the area between your eyebrows and work down. Go back to this same starting point and work down both sides of your nose. e) Lips: For the upper area, start from the centre and work towards the right and left. For the lower area, start from the centre again and work up towards the right and left. f) Chin: Work up from your chin towards the right side of your cheek and then the left side. g) Neck: Start from the bottom of your neck and work up to your jaw. Repeat this movement over your entire neck. h) Cleavage: Start from the top of your chest as shown in the diagram and work up to your neck. Start at the bottom of your chest as well and work around each breast as shown in the diagram. 6. Switch off the device once you have finished using it. To do this, press the Stop/Start button again (point 1) and unplug the device (point 9). For optimum results, you can use the “Microdermabrasion» up to twice a week, depending on your skin type (use once a week for sensitive and normal skin, twice a week for very oily skin), spending a total of 15 minutes on your face and neck and 5 minutes on your cleavage area. Always read the safety precautions specified in the manual and follow the diagrams above. MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE: Care

• Clean all items after use using a slightly damp cloth.

• Do not use detergent or solvent.

• After use, always check the filter in the main handle of the device (point 5 b)). This filter must be kept clean and free from obstructions in order to avoid any reduction or alteration in the power of the pump. We recommend that you replace this filter every week. Simply use a pair of tweezers to extract the filter and insert the replacement in the handle. Storage Having cleaned and dried the device, store it in a dry, cool place out of the reach of children.EN

• All the packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and which can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper recycling bin. The packaging film must be taken to your local sorting and recycling centre.

• When you have finished using the device, please dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with the law. LIMITED WARRANTY LANAFORM® guarantees this product against any material or manufacturing defect for a period of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below. The LANAFORM® guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to this product. In addition, the guarantee covering this LANAFORM® product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accessories, changes made to the product or any other circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside LANAFORM®’s control. LANAFORM® may not be held liable for any type of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage. All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy of the proof of purchase can be supplied. On receipt, LANAFORM® will repair or replace your appliance at its discretion and will return it to you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM®’s Service Centre®. Any attempt to maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM®’s Service Centre will render this guarantee void.8
